In real history, the Korean War broke out 50 years ago during June 1950, as the Cold War between the United States and Soviet Union turned into Hot War when pro-Communist North Korea invaded pro-Western South Korea, and there was fear that this would be the opening shots for World War III. In this altered World War II, friction between the Western Allies and the pro-Communists has already reached the boiling point, causing shots against each other to increase and resulting in the breaking of the joint surrender terms against the Germans. A new "Phony War" begins on the German border, while things get hotter in Asia. Former "Tuskegee Airmen" commander General Davis leads the deployment of the new F-86 Sabre jets to Korea to confront the Soviet "volunteer" MiG-15 group commanded by Colonel Kozhedub and a special female unit led by Major Soyuz!
