The Amazon princess, blessed with god-like super abilities, Wonder Woman is one of Earth's most powerful defenders of peace, justice, and equality and a member of the Justice League. She is considered an archetype for many heroines outside of comic book. Her initial origin depicted her as a clay baby brought to life by patron goddess Aphrodite, but in recent years she has been depicted as the daughter of Zeus and Amazon queen Hippolyta.
A lot of people didn't seem to like Adrianne Palicki's look as Wonder Woman. There have been a few images from the show that have surfaced the internet demonstrating a "tweak" in her costume.
As you can see the boots have been re-colored to be red, and the pants don't seem as shiny as before. I am still skeptical about the Wonder Woman show, but I am willing to give it a shot. What do you guys think?

Sorry, but there's a wide chasm between "not as bad" and "actually good". Everything I've heard and seen about this show so far makes me want to bang my head on my desk (although, on second thought, brain damage might not be such a bad thing here).
Sorry for the pessimism, but as a massive Wonder Woman fan, I can only pray to the gods that this project crashes and burns at the pilot stage. Between Kelley's "vision", the casting and the costume... damn... It's been a rough year for WW, please don't add a mediocre, Bionic Woman-style TV show to it.

Looks a lot better now, with the non-shiny, darker bottom, and removal of heels and change to red for the boots. Still, it's not all that great, and no matter how it looks, it's not going to stop the story from being complete crap.
Even with the terrible costume I was going to at least give the premier a shot. The costume is betterish, but still not that great. We'll see what happens with it, I guess.

I'll give the show a shot, but I really need to see how well she moves and fights in that costume. It wouldn't feel like Wonder Woman if she couldn't pull off some gymnastics, combat rolls and dexterity feats comfortably.
I posted a blog about this a few hours before you (obviously patience meant you have waaaayyyy more images than I found) in which I think my only big criticism is the tube-toppy-ness of the tube top. Maybe it's my love of Final Fantasy that makes me think all those straps holding up her newest top look good, whereas her old top, and this one here are LITERALLY held up by double sided tape and magic.

Well getting it right is relative. Lynda Carter's version looked exactly like the comics however,.... I like Adrianne's look MUCH MUCH more then Lynda's. I also think Adrianne makes a better Amazon then Lynda did. Lynda looked great but she did not look like she could fight AT ALL. Adrianne looks like she can kick ass and she is also very attractive. like I said nobody will agree on whats right and whats wrong.... all I can say is in my opinion this costume design will please the most people. nobody will think its perfect and very few will think its terrible. I am fine with that.

What's right? We still can't even agree on the costume for the comic book character. Personally, I wish they'd went more fully with the Jim Lee costume, but it looks like they tried to compromise between classic and modern. I can live with it as it is now, I'm much more concerned about the show itself. The costume could be perfect and I still wouldn't watch it if the writing is terrible.

First her butt does look off in one of those pics, and why is that? Because that is not Palicki, It's a stunt woman doing those scenes for her lazy butt! Just another reason why she should not be WW on top of not having a good amazon physique, she can't do her own damn stunts!! That is if you call them stunts running on top of cars and jumping back down the whole 3-4 feet onto the ground.

Honestly this show is not even about Wonder Woman's action scenes and costume. They are a very small part of the total package. The show was developed to explore Diana's world when she is not being Wonder Woman. The show is an attempt to show people who Wonder Woman really is and the issues she has adjusting to "Mans world". The shows concept is VERY good in my opinion and I cant wait to watch it....Screw what the costume looks like.... its good enough for TV
People that are overly concerned with that the costume looks like will not like the show no matter how good the costume looks. Adrianne is a VERY good actress and has the height and look of someone that could be an Amazon. A Lynda Carter type does not have the acting chops to make this Wonder Woman believable Its like Casting Adam West in the Dark Knight movie.
Warner Bros recently announced they are moving forward with Wonder Woman movie (hopefully for real this time).... I am sure that show will have a nice sexy woman bursting out of her costume who cant act and lots of special effects.....That would be much better suited for the people on comicvine like "pancake buttman" and the others

i think it funny that people are not going to watch the show beguse of the Costume!! like what the hell!! how can you judge the show beguse of one costume?! i think this costume looks pretty good! it looks so much better then the Orignal Costume that Lynda Carter Wore in her Pilot Show.. and im not going to judge the show before i have even seen it! or should i say this Show will not work beguse of the Costume!! (sounds ridicilous)
