Agreed. I know the live-action show's pilot failed, but why not go for an animated series? When I first heard there was going to be a Wonder Woman TV series a while ago, I was thinking it was going to be an animated show more than a live-action one.

I think there was one purposed during the years of Batman/Superman, pre-Batman Beyond......I think it fell through however

Diana deserves A LOT more than she ends up with. A GOOD film, or animated series would be AMAZING but since DC is too drunk on Batman they ignore one of their best characters. I would MUCH rather see her in the spot light, than let's say, any Green Lantern character. My two cents.

She's a comic superhero icon who at least deserves a chance, though I'm not sure if it would be successful.

The Wonder Woman animated movie from a few years ago was really good and did well compared to other DC animated movies. It seems to me if DC wants to build Wonder Woman up to where a TV series or even a movie would be taken seriously
by the general public then they need to do more than just what is in the comics and an animated series seems like a good idea.

They'd need to find the perfect balance though. As well as the right way to build up her comic book rogues gallery - look what an animated series did for Mr Freeze. The right adaptation could inspire a new genesis for a number of her foes and make a film easier. Didn't Whedon say something about writing Wonder Woman is like making it seem like it's existed for 70 years because she hasn't had much luck in the past?

I would be completely cool with her having a show, its the best way to make her appeal to more people and it gives more freedom creatively than live action

If they give it to Timm/Dini then I'll preorder the first season with zero knowledge of the show.

YES, I heard that part of the reason had to do with some ownership issues. I think that now those have been settled(im not exactly sure), so I think if anything they should do it. I mean it would be great to have a show for her and it would also add to her mythos(like how Harley Queen and Renee Montoya wouldnt exist without BTAS).
