    The Amazon princess, blessed with god-like super abilities, Wonder Woman is one of Earth's most powerful defenders of peace, justice, and equality and a member of the Justice League. She is considered an archetype for many heroines outside of comic book. Her initial origin depicted her as a clay baby brought to life by patron goddess Aphrodite, but in recent years she has been depicted as the daughter of Zeus and Amazon queen Hippolyta.

    Is it true that she stood in lava once and survived a nuclear explosion, recently?
    If she did, then how did she?
    I never knew her invulnerability was that good, thats why she needed her braclets.

    I am not sure about either of those, but she has been shown to be nearly imprevious to radiation, but that wouldnt stop about another thousand problems associated with a nuclear explosion.  In volume 2 issue 220 she stops a nuclear reactor from overheating by physically moving the radioactive rods. 

     

    The lava is kind of weird but she is able to commune with Gaea, I dont know if thats what they used as justification.  Usually Wonder Woman's god given abilities are written as so obscure that writers just make stuff up whenever they want.
