New WW titles are looking so gooood. Hope she gets huge amount of good feats here so new 52 ww can battle without being curbstomped.

You're all misinterpreting that image. Wonder Woman isn't going to punch Orion. Orion just has a picture of Wonder Woman getting ready to punch someone painted on his helmet.

I like this. It's the perfect gateway from the mythic imagery-heavy first arc to the larger DC universe. After dealing with the New Gods, WW will be better situated for mixing in with characters like Dr. Psycho and the like. (Not that she's not already doing that in the pages of JL, what with the pending Cheetah appearance, but I'm talking here about her solo title.)

Thank you and i was hoping the same thing,especially with new gods.Especially big barda's costume,just needs to be tweaked.

She should,she should stomp orion,unless they add in PIS and make her seem weaker.Just saying,she should take him,doesn't matter if she gets hit once or thrown,she should have the far upper hand in battle.

i think orion should be as strong as apollo was in WW #11..since he is a god...

I wouldn't mind if they make Orion as strong, or even stronger, as she is. But I would like to see her take him down because of how she applies her strength. Really emphasize that her training as a warrior gives her the upper hand against people who are super powerful, and that she's even more intimidating because along with being strong she can apply it in ways her foes don't expect.

...Plus there's that whole removing the bracers thing when she kicked Artemis' a$$

@cloudzackvincent: But we don't know how much weaker (if she even is) she'll be. If he's on Apollo level then I still think she could take him, hence the removing bracers comment. Plus, IMO, Orion was always a brawler. He never seemed to think about what he was doing, as long as he got to hit something. Diana's got more finesse.

Orion is skilled fighter to. I can prove this to you.

@warlord1234: I'll gladly take your word for it, I haven't read much with Orion. But I always thought his rage was what propelled him to be such a powerful combatant, whereas with wonder woman it seemed her vast combat knowledge and skill (coupled with her strength) were what made her formidable.

I made i case how skilled Orion is a year ago on orion vs captain atom page 3 (http://www.comicvine.com/forums/battles/7/orion-vs-captain-atom/576463/?page=3) . I would not say that he is way skilled then Wonder Woman but when he went undercover pretending to be Darkseid new recruit the recruiters recommended that he be promted to full status and that Darkseid should take special note of him, the last time darkseid took special note of a warrior that will serve him well was Big Barda whose fighting skills are sufficient to fight Wonder Woman one on one in hand to hand combat. Remember that Wonder Woman is stronger then Big Barda the only reason Barda is able to fight her is because she is just has skilled has Wonder Woman and more ruthless in battle.

I couldn't care less about Orion. We still don't fully know Wonder Woman's origin. I'd like the details of that before we learn the origin of someone who's name isn't in the title. Like the gods before him, he's just another distraction.

The implication is that she's a damsel in distress that needs her man to fight her battles for her, instead of a hero in her own right.

It was skill and Darkseid did not take notice of this. It was the recruiters that did.

The New Gods have always shown to be superior to the so called deities,it's the New Gods who become involved in universal and multiversal matters,deities cant even handle their own solar system.

Regardless,a fairly written fight with both operating at peak should result in a comfortable victory for Orion.He's stronger,more durable,has regeneration abilities,very skilled and most importantly has much greater energy manipulation at his disposal due to the astro force and the mother box.

Only if it's a fist fight between 2 warriors,which is most likely to happen.But really Orion can set up a force field.

@entropy_aegis: wonder woman has been able to break force fields before,and she can deal with energy attacks,she can dodge or block with her bracelets,and as i said,we still don't know all her power,as a semi-goddess she could have new abilities,just like she had zeus lightings before the new 52,new 52 wonder woman is still developing her power,we have to wait and see.

Orion looks buzzed and aloof at the same time.
