The Amazon princess, blessed with god-like super abilities, Wonder Woman is one of Earth's most powerful defenders of peace, justice, and equality and a member of the Justice League. She is considered an archetype for many heroines outside of comic book. Her initial origin depicted her as a clay baby brought to life by patron goddess Aphrodite, but in recent years she has been depicted as the daughter of Zeus and Amazon queen Hippolyta.
I am glad that Diana got on the plane and Cass didn't know about it. Maybe she will try to protect Apollo as she promised before? And probably in order to fight FB, she needs to become the God of War.
Not much happens in here outside the preview; it was an epic battle between Apollo and First Born, however; Wonder Woman could have used a lot more panel space.
That's probably the highlight of the issue; that issue seemed short.
@dshipp17: Every issue from this title is always too short, damnit! There are too many characters to share the space.
The panels are too big and the dialogues too short. They could squeeze more substance into 20 pages even with battalions of characters competing for attention.
This is an amazing comic and I understand why IGN love it so much, but and its a big but, when I read the Wonder Woman comic she doesn't really do an awful lot herself. I am waiting for her to really shake lose and show us her power and since I jumped on board, I am still waiting. Sure there's a feat in this issue or two, but its largely about Apollo and First Born.
