Where did you hear that she was Artemis? What issue was Artemis identified? It was not in any of Finch's Wonder Woman issues I don't think.

I'm surprised that Miley Cyrus got mentioned twice on this thread and none of them were as Zola.

After all, Cliff Chiang seemed rather enthusiastic about Miley/Zola.

Haven't thought too much about the supporting cast. Although going with the villains I want to see in the first movie this is what my casting would be.

Ares: Mads Mikkelson

Circe: Idina Menzel

Queen Clea: Vanessa Williams

She was my first choice as well, but my thought was that if they go with either the New 52 version, or the classic version they're gonna catch flack for either for erasing one of the new heavy set women in comics, or one of the few black women. I guess that didn't stop them from casting a skinny Waller though. Still I think casting a heavy black woman might be the best way to let everyone win. I don't really know of many heavy set back actresses, but given DC's recent trend of hiring Glee actors maybe they'll give the role to Amber Riley, or less likely Alex Newell.

I want Kirsten Dunst in there, maybe as Circe. This movie needs a few A-listers if it's gonna be successful

I'd be up for that, but it depends how old they are going for with the character.

I don't normally post much, but the other day I was thinking about this movie. Especially with the director switch. I got to pondering villains and such. Most of wonder woman's villains seemed fairly easy to cast in my mind, except cheetah.

I gotta say Charlize Theron as Cheetah is a great idea. Not to mention she has worked with Patty Jenkins before. I really like that casting idea, thank you for posting it. I really doubt they will use Cheetah, but I can always hope. She has always been a favorite villain of mine. Somehow I have doubts about them using her and portraying her as ruthless as she should be though.

Going by the Azzarello cast, I want Liam Cunningham as Ares and Bellamy Young as Hera. Don't care about the rest.

fair enough ... MM is in her early 40s I believe so that might not work if they are going for much younger ... strictly speaking Etta was originally a College age woman, but post-Crisis she was much older. I don't really have a preference, but it would be fun to see the Holiday Girls in live action (although I suspect the live action film will end up being a tad dark for that).

For a younger Etta I'd be okay with Rebel Wilson, even though I think her humor is more "awkward" while Etta should be more slap-stick or self effacing. Another good choice in a slightly older women could be Christina Hendricks ... she's stunning and a wonderful actress, but still "full figured" (especially next to Gadot)

For a younger woman perhaps Kat Dennings could pull it off ... but she's in Thor universe already as essentially a side-kick so maybe not

@kwolf: who else wud they use besides Ares?

And plus, with Theron and Jenkins on board, Cheetah would be sure to be a..................monster.
