I forgot she was even the God of War. Why haven't seen any new powers or weapons. Her reign is just dead and bland. Is any writer going to capitalize on this? Lol.

@somayareece: Completely agree, aside from a few times where it's been briefly touched on, there's been almost no plot development regarding her being the God of War! Other than her being among the other Olympians more often, there's been essentially no change to her character...

Besides the name being cool and all, I was wondering the same thing.

The only purpose that I see is to keep her stuck in the Azzarrello story, in the push to integrate her into Greek Mythology.

Hopefully it's to illustrate the irony and dichotomy of her nature versus her status. . . . but that's not the case so far.

Because, as we saw during Azzarello's run, being the god of anything means nothing but what the person decides to do with it, not what other people think they should do with it.

ranks right up there with making Zeus her father.if they wanted to give her a father it should have been Ares,thus her succeeding him as the God of War would make more sense.
