I miss this look it was new and innovative why did they change it.

I've been wondering that, myself.

I liked this look, except for the jacket. But the shoes and the pants are cool.

Personally I liked this design more...

@War Killer: That's cool too. I just wish she had pants......

Same here, I wish they would have kept the original design for her new look where she had pants instead of taking them away at the last minute.

These are nice alternative looks for special storiy lines or alternate versions of Wonder Woman from different dimensions.

However, the original or slight verations of the original look are the best and most recognizable.

Superman and Batman haven't changed very much from their original looks. Neither should Wonder Woman.

to me this look was perfect it should she could kick ass in style. when they change it its like they wanted to make her a sex symbol instead of a heroic icon. don get me wrong i love the classic ww look and new 52, but this look really gave her style and made you see her as more than a sex symbol, but as a true wonder woman

#13 Posted by justice teen (299 posts) - 11 months, 24 days ago - Show Bio

also the jacket brought it out so i like it with the jacket

#14 Posted by TDK_1997 (9690 posts) - 11 months, 24 days ago - Show Bio

Well, her look in the New 52 got changed and the one that is used now is cooler.

#15 Posted by KainScion (2975 posts) - 11 months, 24 days ago - Show Bio

@justice teen: they gave us the fans that costume so we would complain about the change. then they gave us the current new52 one which is similar to the old one but as a compromise *wink wink*. in short it was a means to change a little bit of the way her costume looks but still get great recognition for the little they have changed and getting us the fans the thought that we actually made a difference. everybody wins.

my fav 2 its works with her she is a warrior from greek times, she should look more like a warrior not a super hero. I love the armor look not her normal. that jacket look took away from her greek warrior feel.

These are awesome. If she's an amazon she should look like one

You don't like my pics?

#23 Posted by WaveMotionCannon (2546 posts) - 11 months, 24 days ago - Show Bio

Yeah that Terry Dodson WW is awesome but I still would like a little more armor on her to highlight her warrior woman badassness.

I like it too--but without the jacket and choker.
#25 Edited by OutlawRenegade (834 posts) - 11 months, 24 days ago - Show Bio
This is also really good. It just needs a better logo.

I liked everything about the Odyssey costume except the straps around her arms. My favorite part though was the bracelets with the gloves. It made them look fresh and modern and it was a really cool design. The tiara was awesome too. What I don't understand is why we've had chokers with the past two costumes and neither one of them had earrings? Earrings are important for Wonder Woman's look to me. When I was a little kid I drew them stuck to her hair before I knew how to draw ears.

DC decided that readers don't like that design, and changed it to cater to those people they think want to read comics for their suggestive material/scantily clad females.

Is that why DC covered up Power Girl and put her in that fugly costume? What about Black Canary, Poison Ivy, Zatanna or Phantom Lady?

#29 Edited by Twentyfive (2161 posts) - 11 months, 10 days ago - Show Bio

@SCORPIO_CASSADINE: Well, actually.....yeah..... lol you are right.

But this is Wonder Woman they've been trying to redo her for years, but to no avail.

Actually, in help of my case, look at what they did to Starfire, and Harley Quin. What happened to Amanda Waller? She's sexy now. She used to be fat, and offered more realism in the comics, seeing how not every woman in the world is fit and sexy. I'm not complaining, now that I've seen that they put her in Team Seven, but still...

Have you seen what they did to the cover of the Ravgers? I knew Fairchild wouldn't look like how she did on the cover (I checked the preview). The cover featured Fairchild in nothing but underwear, in the snow, just to grab the teenaged to mid twenties male demographic. I think they should change that WW costume.

@Twentyfive: they didn't do anything to Starfire
#32 Posted by Twentyfive (2161 posts) - 11 months, 10 days ago - Show Bio

@spiderbat87: You are right. That's why nobody responded with contempt toward her depiction and costume design in RHatO issue number one.

She was already like that waaaaaay before the reboot
#34 Posted by Twentyfive (2161 posts) - 11 months, 10 days ago - Show Bio

@spiderbat87: zol. I apologize. My bad. Well, DC should've changed that if you asked me. They're only catering to males. DC needs to maximize their readership lol.

Sorry again, I was the ignorant one here. I don't/didn't read Teen Titans, as you can imagine.

where is this taken from? ... Looks like Smallville ....

#37 Posted by SCORPIO_CASSADINE (153 posts) - 11 months, 9 days ago - Show Bio

It was Smallville and it's too Xenarific and over done. She looks like she's wearing a gladiator costume designed for a showgirl at the Stardust in Vegas. But unlike the other fake Xena looks at least it's genuinely red and blue.

The best Wonder Woman outfit bar none was the Dodson costume. It was sexy, cool and modern and entirely Wonder Woman.

because of the starfire incident.

Everyone hated these costumes, and were quite vocal about it. And you made a post about how you liked it more.

That's kinda funny.

@DarkKnightDetective: starfire incident?

#42 Posted by BatWatch (2291 posts) - 11 months, 8 days ago - Show Bio

Apparently, DC things comic book readers are idiots who will not read a comic staring a heroine unless they look like sluts.

#43 Posted by DarkKnightDetective (6758 posts) - 11 months, 8 days ago - Show Bio

@sunhawk: yeah because they were going to give DC more crap about making their heroines in the new 52 look like sluts (starfire)

#44 Posted by JayMar89 (91 posts) - 11 months, 5 days ago - Show Bio

They should use this look for the movie superman and batman are updated for there movies they should of kept the pants in the new 52
