The Amazon princess, blessed with god-like super abilities, Wonder Woman is one of Earth's most powerful defenders of peace, justice, and equality and a member of the Justice League. She is considered an archetype for many heroines outside of comic book. Her initial origin depicted her as a clay baby brought to life by patron goddess Aphrodite, but in recent years she has been depicted as the daughter of Zeus and Amazon queen Hippolyta.
I think we should wait and see how long she keeps it before we decide where it should be on the list. I personally don't like the idea of her being the victom of a Star Trek-esque time travel muck up, if I understand it right (I havn't read it yet). It'd be one more thing I like that everyone else thaught needed a drastic change so other people would like it :P. Oh well, I guess if it makes people happy, I can't complain.
I like the classic look. It suggests a muscular structure in her back and shoulders that could potentially support a set of wings. Strangely enough, her armored costume actually features such wings.
@CylonDorado: the one which you say is one of yourof her favourites, I like to but I hope she has something under that white cloth otherwise plenty of candid cam :P
@degraaf: maybe a coincidence but Wonder Woman in the art(drawn by Francis Manapul) looks like Angel Locsin(actress in the Philippines) so I'm kinda surprise when I saw the picture

I think this is by FAR the best Wonder Woman costume!

Heh the old one also does not represent Themiscyara either :P it represents America. Never seen any amazon wearing anything resembling Wonder Womans uniform :)

I like almost anything which divorces Diana from the star spangled American outfit. But based on her personality age and mission of peace I can't see this as her main outfit. It looks very very aggressive and hostile in my opinion. Diana's fellow Amazons are 3000 years old but Diana herself arrived in "mans world at the age of around 23" chances are that she would not be so overly accustom to wearing such ancient Roman looking costumes unless she needed all the extra Armour for a tough foe.
I am thinking this outfit would fit better on Artemis than Diana. I think "mans world has had a pretty big impact on her and her style would reflect that.... But that's only my opinion.... Personally I think her new outfit would transfer well going forward but am sure it will be changed back to the old.... star spangled irrelevant costume. But I will still love Wonder Woman no matter what she is wearing.
I like Jim Lee's version. The skirt is more old school (yet short enough to be stylish) and I'm really feeling the short cape. (also be on the lookout for Bab's Wonder Woman review ;P)
