Should wonder woman be drawn "thick" and protrayed "thick "?

#1 Edited by comic_boi (3 posts) - - Show Bio

I think the fact she is an amazon she should be drawn thick like how Benard Chang draws her.

Looks like Bernard Chang drew her kind of skinny, but I'd like to see Darwyn Cooke as the artist; I was ok with Bernard Chang as an artist though.

Yup, Wonder Woman looks better thick.

this .

I like her well-rounded. Not supermodel skinny, but with enough form and figure to be both regal (idealistic beauty) and warrior-like (athletic).

Yes, she's an Amazon. She's supposed to be thick and around 7 feet tall. I hate seeing a petite and short WW. She's supposed to be able to put the male heroes to shame

Thickness... You want some booty on WW?

Mulher Melancia thick?
Elke thick
I don't even know.....

Okay that last pick seems a bit too much, lets refer to the panel

Case for?

case against

Then there is like

Thick!

Judges?

Your face is thick.

Jim Lee draws her as a super model. Not a fan of his Diana. Cliff Chiang has it right IMO.

Skinny doesn't make sense. (Talking about auschwitz survivor skinny)

There was a thread similar to this one with a pic with the perfect WW body.

I think my perfect idea of WW is Justice League, she's just right there.

Yes. I think WW, Powergirl and Big Barda should all be drawn as bigger girls: very toned, tall, thicker limbs, etc.

Kirby drew the best Barda, and I think it's kind of what's being suggested by the OP:

If by pop star you mean extremely attractive. Then yes, pop-star.

By pop-star I mean; not as someone you imagine could fight to save their lives.

Is that necessarily a bad thing.

When in doubt, go back to basics. The GA version was a "sturdy" young lady.

How does she not look like she couldn't fight to save lives. Just look at that photo of her kicking superman in the face she a lean mean fighting machine with a sword, she's fierce and looks like she can kick ass. She can successfully pull off the warrior trait when she needs to. And all that while being hot.

#36 Posted by lilben42 (2498 posts) - - Show Bio

@wboy: I personally think she is too skinny, the way Jim Lee draws her. Cliff Chaing though...

Lee also draws Wonder Woman too small.

Jim Lee draws her without physical power, in his images she's a lingerie model with big knockers that occasionally kicks someone in the head.

This is how it should be done:

Not too thick clearly that wouldn't complement her curves.

Athletically thick is how WW is best depicted.

This is how Wonder Woman should look.
