SCOOP: David E. Kelley’s Wonder Woman TV Pilot Script Dissected

So far the show is turning out almost exactly how I expected. Atleast Kelly has done some research (Perez, Rucka). There is really nothing in the description that troubles me.... Actually I kind of like what I read. This could be a hit TV show if they get the casting right!

From what I read, I think comic book fans will find this Diana familiar while she is also able to interest mainstream viewers who are not into comics.

Bleedingcool.com seems to be super bias in there comments which is kind of stupid. I like the information from thefutoncritic.com much better because it seems more objective providing just the current facts.

Can't wait to see this show from what I read I think I will enjoy it a lot even if its not an exact reproduction. The fact that Kelly is taking some plot elements from PEREZ and RUCKA is very promising. I love the information about the costume. Seems we will get the best of both worlds from this.

ugh... depressing..

i'm really hoping that this script that was leaked is a fake...

"A couple of weeks ago a first draft of the upcoming David E. Kelly helmed “Wonder Woman” pilot leaked onto the Internet.

To say that its contents make every Julia Roberts romantic comedy ever look like “Die Hard” is an understatement"

"The details of the script reportedly include (but are no means limited to) Diana goofily singing along to the radio while driving, getting inordinately hung up about her ex-boyfriend, eating ice cream in her pajamas with her “BFF,” and (perhaps worst of all) the utterance of the phrase, “You go girl.”

All that’s missing is one dancing baby and you’re well on your way to something more closely resembling an Ally McBeal reboot than a Wonder Woman adaptation.

This Wonder Woman also has not one but two secret identities. One of those identities is a high-powered CEO who everyone knows to be the counterpart to her superhero persona. Which worked fine for the Iron Man movie. That is, until the sequel came out."

" Perhaps one of the most indicative aspects that David E. Kelly is probably not the right man to helm a Wonder Woman show are the music cues. The choice in unironically including “One Way or Another,” “Bad Romance” and “All the Single Ladies” act as red alerts that this script was written by a middle-aged man completely out of touch with how a woman in her 30s actually acts."

I hope this is not true. Let it be a fake script.

@Gambler: i just wonder what DC has to say...IF this is all true, they should step in and stop this...that is if they can...

Pretty much the same here lol  I just hope that the show won't be about WW crying that she can't find a man.
