What are your thoughts? While I think that director has a good grasp on creating great female characters... I think the tone is completely wrong. DC films have sort of differentiated itself from Marvel films because they tend to have a "darker" tone. If anything, I think WW should have the most violent of the films. I'm glad that it wasn't green-lit. But it is good to hear that DC is hearing WW film pitches though.

Yeah, I'm glad this went nowhere. It would be awful if, after all these years of waiting, Wonder Woman's movie turned out to be a big joke. That tone worked for Iron Man, and even has its place in Spider-Man, but Wonder Woman isn't a funny character. That isn't to say that she should be somber or humorless, but laughs shouldn't be the primary goal.

A light hearted Wonder Woman action-comedy? Would have sucked hard. She deserves a serious film made with respect, not some campy satirical comedy.
