It’s no surprise that after recent events, Superman and Wonder Woman are cautious about the appearance of the new hero who calls himself Wonderstar. But this mysterious hero seems to be asking for nothing more than their guidance in dealing with his strange, erratic powers – and for their help in protecting his loved ones and his secret identity! The only problem is that his past is a blank slate. He doesn’t know who he is, where he comes from – or why is feels a strange connection to the Man of Steel and the Amazon Warrior!
Wonder Woman
Character » Wonder Woman appears in 8718 issues.
The Amazon princess, blessed with god-like super abilities, Wonder Woman is one of Earth's most powerful defenders of peace, justice, and equality and a member of the Justice League. She is considered an archetype for many heroines outside of comic book. Her initial origin depicted her as a clay baby brought to life by patron goddess Aphrodite, but in recent years she has been depicted as the daughter of Zeus and Amazon queen Hippolyta.
NEW 52 SM/WW HAVE A CHILD?!?!
Me I'm just wondering why you chose Wonder Woman's side of the fence to pose this question when this child is possibly half's Superman and you're a fan of his. I noticed that you only come here to discuss things like who should have Wonder Woman, was Wonder Woman rapped, did she bear him a child so basically all the ways in which she's useful to men
Why did I do this Archi?

Also I'm pretty sure I state on the WW rape thread that Superman was almost raped, I never said anything about WW. The reason I post it here is cus the responses are gold and threads here get way more responses on this subject.
It could be their kid. Even if it is that doesn't mean it is a definite future. They can still break up and never get back together.It is just a possible future.
@saint_wildcard: It was a rhetorical question, I think I know the answer eheh
@saint_wildcard: I doubt that's their kid. Superman already has a kid in the New 52 (Superboy). He's the son of Superman and Lois from the future.

Jon Lane Kent, right? Doesn't that still qualify as only a possible future and not a definitive one, (especially given time travel being involved in his story.)
@scouterv: You are right, it is a possible future but Geoff Johns did say that Superman and Wonder Woman's relationship would end badly.
I always thought Clark would go back to being with Lois since he clearly have a lot of feelings for her. He even showed them while he was in a relationship with Diana.

Didn't he say that a long time ago though? I figured things changed, since I believe WW/SM sells pretty well for DC.
And I'm not surprised, but I think that's how DC keeps the door open in case they do end WW/SM.
@scouterv: Comics with Superman and Wonder Woman are sold badly. Comics with Clois sold much better.

Jesus Christ! You're back :/
@scouterv: It was said a while ago but Geoff Johns is finally back at writting Superman which he wasn't doing before. We might see some changes.
Scott Snyder did put a lot of tension between Lois and Clark in Superman Unchained.
DC is currently trying a lot of things. Kyle Rayner with Carol, Black Cannary without Green Arrow, Clark with Diana, Barry without Iris, etc...
@foamborn: this is why he posts here ... He knows he's going to get a ridiculous commentary about how having a child is somehow "use" for a woman. Last I checked most mothers would probably feel differently. Diana would see a child as a blessing not some horrible thing Clark infested in her.

He gave a vague answer after he was asked again somewhere after trinity war. So I think it's out of his hands now
@saint_wildcard: ha!
@humanrocket: double ha! I think it's WW kid that she sculpted from clay :)
It's probably Batman's kid.
Wonderstar would be black, but instead he's glowing like the sun god he'd be if he was Kal's spawn

Not a use for a woman but certainly a use for female characters in male driven stories. Keep banging away csg_cl this witch hunt is nowhere near complete
@foamborn: you keep calling yourself a witch ... I'm just calling 'em like I see 'em ... WW and SM having a child is in no way a negative "use" of either character, unless of course SM rapes WW and the result is her becoming pregnant. If you weren't on some misguided crusade to somehow prove sexism in every panel of every comic you might actually enjoy something from time to time.
@csg_cl: ouch..lol

She knows what she is so there isn't a point to arguing about it. This news is another possible future and there still together now so until the break up really happens, this is how the stories will keep progressing.
@malachi_munroe: some people have to find negative in everything ... This one seems to think I'm "out to get her" when, in reality, I'm just amazed by the ridiculous commentary.

The "witches" were innocent people accused of witchcraft by a mob of squalid, vicious, remorseless people like you csg_cl
@foamborn: you poor persecuted thing! Why don't we stay on the topic instead of dealing with your histrionics? Why is it a problem that WW and SM may have a child? Odds are he's not their kid anyway, but you seem to think that would be bad ... Why? It's not like it's the first time a WW/SM child would exist.
@foamborn: Man, relax as I said even if he is their kid, he will be only a possible future kid.
@csg_cl: maybe he or she is just jelly or drinking that haterade.
@foamborn: Man, relax as I said even if he is their kid, he will be only a possible future kid.
But I am, I never wrote that having a child was problematic, that's what he's accusing me of saying. I merely remarked that Saint_Wildcard as well as this new wave of Wonder Woman fans don't seem to give a shit about Wonder Woman beyond what she can do for Superman as a woman, like delivering a mega-powerful child. I don't care, as long as she isn't portrayed as just the child-bearer like Superwoman was in Forever Evil

@primebonnick: why people gotta hate? Personally I find people who default to "that's sexist" arguments to be lacking in understanding of WW and of equality issues in general.
@malachi_munroe: LMAO

@malachi_munroe: LMAO
this thread about to turn upppppppppppppppppppppp
@foamborn: no I didn't. I asked you what your issue is with it. You've clearly stated that you feel it is a negative thing for WW. You stated n your first post in this thread that it is one of two ways a woman can be used by a man (along with rape). You jumped on the OP for starting a thread and now are acting like a victim when the rest of us don't blindly agree with your rambling.
@malachi_munroe: guurl, this sh!t just got real
@csg_cl: since when do people need a reason to hate, they just do.
@malachi_munroe: guurl, this sh!t just got real
@bluebeetle1: what happens? People get al huffy that WW isn't perfect? Throw wild sexism in comics accusations around? Or just get generally snarky?
@saint_wildcard: I doubt that's their kid. Superman already has a kid in the New 52 (Superboy). He's the son of Superman and Lois from the future.
Why's that baby wearing eyeliner?
@csg_cl: I'm confused though, i thought kryptonians couldn't reproduce with humans (although it may differ with Diana in mind with the whole demigod thing)
Why's that baby wearing eyeliner?
BECAUSE HE'S EVIL!!!
