If Wonder Woman had the right script and it was really powerful and emotional and interesting, I would be into that kind of thing.  I feel that sometimes the character development gets thrown to the wayside in those movies, and I’m really interested in that kind of thing.  So if both the elements could be there—the physicality and a real developed character, whether it’s a Wonder Woman thing or a Justice League thing—I’m open to it.

I agree with Moomin 123.  She's definitely got the athletic body, and to paraphrase her own statement "So if both the elements could be there--the physicality and a real "developed" character".....Bwaa haa Haaa...she said "DEVELOPED".    She really is the only known actress who could be a potential contender, but I also think an unkown would be the best choice.  It'd make a nice surprise for everyone.  Look what it did for Hugh Jackman playing Wolverine (although he was a little known).  It's a tough casting call for this one.  

I'd pick here above any of the other actresses out there.

The problem with high profile actors (sometimes) is they can get a little demanding (I'm not saying Biel would be, I don't really know much about her personality).  It could cause conflicts if they don't agree with the script, even if it's true to the character.  Other times it can be a little hard to envision an actor in a role if they've done other big roles.  (Is anyone besides me going to be thinking about Bruce Wayne while watching Terminator Salvation?)  I'm not saying she'd be a horrible choice.  She was good in Blade: Trinity (which she also addresses in the link in the original post).  As long as it's not Megan Fox, we're off to a good start.

I totally understand why an unknown should be used in the roll of Wonder Woman, I just think we all know that Jessica is hot and could do no wrong. DC and Warner better get rolling on this one because Marvel Studio's has a proven record regardless of some it failures like Daredevil, Elektra, and Punisher. 

Whedon did write a script some time ago but Warner Bros. just got weird with him over it.  I guess he was on it for like two years then was kind booted off the project (that never went any further).

That's about the most viable casting choice I've seen since Joss got the toss.  Plus Biel has shown a little more imagination than some of the actress candidates.

I think Jessica Biel would make a better Zatanna than a Wonder Woman

I would aggressively avoid a Wonder Woman movie with Jessia Biel.

Megan Fox would have been perfect. Too bad that was just an internet hoax. :(

Ok so probably being weird here, but I don't like the same person playing different characters in comic based movies. Biel did Blade: Trinity, that's her comic book character to me. (Reynolds made a good Deadpool, though,  to argue against myself. Grrr...)

I agree you shouldn't compare Jessica Biel to Jackman and Bale on the issue of acting because both Jackman and Bale are much better with acting than Biel. However Jessica Biel is a good actress in the area of acting compared to an unknown actress taking on the role of Wonder Woman. An Yes I agree with you Bale was on the map and well known before he became Batman in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight and you mentioned some of his famous and well known movies like The Machinist and American Psycho but that was the point I was trying to make because all 3-of them are well known in the area of acting before they did something big and famous except maybe for Jackman because he did alot of work in Australia before the 1st X-Men but he was still well known there. But I think the reason Jessica Biel would be a good choice beside her being real hot is she is a good actress that has a good deal amount of acting experience in high profile movie, small independent movie and TV Shows compared to an unknown actress who would not have enought acting experiance credited to them for a big comic book movie such as Wonder Woman.

No thats true with everything you that said and Hugh Jackman is kind of the excample of an unknown or at least famous out of the country actor but unknown in the USA becoming famous in Hollywood. An I'm not trying to put down all the actors and actress that have little experiance in the area of acting because anyone who can get into Hollywood or at least make themselves known to the people of Hollywood must have some form of talent. But what I was trying to get at was would you want to put all that pressure of such a famous comic book character and a big huge blockbuster and possibly franchise movie on the shoulders of unknown actress that that doesn't have alot of experience but only some of at least a small amount of experience that we never heard of that would be a huge responsiblity to the actress because the movie could either be great and a huge success or a comple failure. An I do agree with you on the last point about Jessica Biel she hasn't yet stared in a really great movie. Just out of curiousity do you have other suggestions besides Jessica Biel.

Lucy Lawless I can see do Wonder Woman if they do Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns how about Sarah Lancaster of the NBC TV Show Chuck or Evangeline Lilly of Lost what do you think of those two actress as possibly playing Wonder Woman in a movie because I can see your not a fan of Jessica Biel or at least her and her acting career so far. An I'm not a Wonder Woman fan my self either and I wouldn't see the Wonder Woman movie if it was ever made and came to the big screen. But I would like to see it made properly in the area of great DC Comics movie on the level of lets say the current Christopher Nolan Batman Franchise.

I have been calling it for years.... Man there is just no one in hollywood better for the roll right now... come on fit hot can act and has has read comics she is amazing......
