Adrianne Palicki is an EXCELLENT choice for Kelleys Wonder Woman.

I'm skeptical. 
 
First of all, people are way to focused on her physically fulfilling the role. Is Clooney more classically handsome than Christian Bale? Yes. Did he make a better Batman? Absolutely not. 
 
The general public's faith in female-led comics or movies is so little because they make the same mistake over and over and over again. They over-emphasize the style and physicality of the role and do nothing more to substantiate it, they don't put the effort to make them compelling and believable characters. All successful examples of female heroines actually had interesting conflict- Buffy, Beatrix Kiddo, Xena...Sydney Bristow (mostly) 
 
Frankly, I don't see her as Wonder Woman, I've seen her in Friday Night Lights and I've looked into her appearances on other shows and usually she plays the hot, boring, almost doofus-like roles that suit screencaptures more than they do scenes. 
 
Also WTF David E Kelly? I hate how everyone is so obsessed with simplifying and re-imagining comicbook continuity. Wonder Woman has lasted decades upon decades on her continuity, don't mess with it. Just imagine Alley Macbeal except more iconic and times 12 in length.

I'd rather have Beyonce...it's going to suck either way!

you people are forgetting WW is fictional! there is no one like her. there is no one that flawless. and also that girl is from tv shows not from films. who would be better than her? who is your alternative? Adrianne Palicki is a very good choice. who would you pick? i don't think anybody can come up with a name who is "perfect" for the role. i know her from FNL and she did great in that. i hope and believe she'll do great in this too. and of course there is the script, it shouldn't be less WW and too Ally McBeal. don't think her "as the show". she'll be WW, not the show. the show is much more important than her looks.  
 
Adrianne needs muscles, and dark hair, that's all. she doesn't look like a porn star, she has a soft side like WW and she looks badass as well. so, stop judging, people!

Characters are re-imagined and re-worked all the time.  Some end up working, some don't.  I suggest withholding judgment until the pilot hits...?  Maybe?

Eh, I'll give the show a shot, but this is far from the best casting for Di. I admit that I'm not getting a Wonder Woman from her (from pictures, vids, etc.), but she could surprise me and do really well. I guess I'm staying optimistic? At least it is going forward and not stuck in pre-production limbo. To be honest, I've pretty much lost most of my faith in DC and the WB, so my expectations are low for anything they release movie, comic, video, television, etc. wise.

I really liked her on Friday Night Lights but I didn't think in a million years she would be Wonder Woman.... who knows though.

Wait a second, she's in the Red Dawn remake with Josh Peck? No way... I have the VHS sitting on top of my TV waiting for me to finally watch it. That's insane...

I dont think shes a god choice 

She's a horrible choice for sure, but does it matter really? They could cast anyone they want and it still won't save this show from being complete torture.

I think that she is a pretty good choice. I mean she has the looks. She just has to dye her hair to the right color and that is it. I've seen all the things that she's in. And I have to say she is a better choice than Megan Fox. Which is who they originally wanted.

Normally I would be blunt with this because I think she is not... how do I say this, tough enough looking? Too girlish? Maybe its what happens to my mind wgen I look at comic book WW's face structure and then her's and I just cannot see it. Idk but she is good looking enough but I don't know I guess we'll have to wait and see. It could work.

i really like this Choice!! and i am sure she will get Training to get more Muscular and stuff before they start shooting!! i think its so silly that some people here are judging before you have seen the Pilot Show! come on! give her a break!

Really not feeling her in the role. There are sooo many women out there with height, curves, athleticism, and acting skill.. she has the skill and height, but is far to waif like.

The big thing about this topic is that we all have standards on who WW should look like.  Any red blooded heterosexual male has their ideal image of the amazon, even me.  Not going into that zone, but this woman Adrienne is an unknown (relatively), and at least should be given the benefit of the doubt.  I think she may surprise us all.   
 
Now, looking at her from a physical standpoint, being critical about it...  it appears that she needs to bulk up.  If she's been living on a island for a long time, with no modern amenities and physically being pushed all the time to hone and harness her body to perfection, then she needs some more muscle.  (Being a guy now)  She needs bigger bewbs.   LOL 
 
I hold no expectations on this series, nor do I know if I will ever see it.  Just giving my two cents...  Jim
