If the cw tv show materializes, they will probably use Diana Prince and this could influence the comics to also have Diana Prince again.

God no......just......god no.....do we need MORE contradictions to her ACTUAL FREAKING BOOK????!!! Not to mention the fact that this aspect of the character has been DEAD AND GONE SINCE THE 80s!!!!! That's like bringing back Silver Age Jimmy Olsen for the Man of Steel movie or giving Green Arrow his Golden Age Arrowcar and Arrowmobile. Some things should just DIE.

When the first wonder woman tv show season one was set in World War 2, the comics moved to earth 2 World War 2 stories. When the first wonder woman tv show switched to modern times, the comics also switched to modern times. So strange things do happen in comics because of tv shows.

I saw this is Justice League #15. I think it might be an interesting idea, but it goes against everything that has happened in Wonder Woman and I really hope that they think about that before they give her anything. 

A Diana Prince identity might be useful if Wonder Woman wants to have sexual relations with humans in peace without being bothered by super villains.

@StarKiller809: well all they did was make her have dinner with clark and she said that she enjoyed it and that she can't believe that the disguise is working.Clark was there explaining to her that the reason his disguise works is because people don't expect people like him to have lives outside of fighting crime.That was it...I never saw her lose her powers and learn Karate.

Good thing diana prince is gone,although I don't know how she got her powers back in the old universe.But all this was was a simple dinner under disguise,that is it.If they bring back diana prince,I bet that they are only bringing back the name,that is all...no depowerment or anything.Just the identity,and that is only IF they bring it back.Which nobody knows if she is,people are already getting mad when nothing was confirmed and the focus was to mainly explain how his alter ego works.

I think this is great actually but there is a light discrepancy between her title and these panels from JL 15. In her book it seems like she knows how to get around in public, taking off the tiara and putting on some plain cloths, like in the scene where they meet Lennox for the first time, in a London café. She has an apartment in London and she hit the bar scene with Strife and Zola without one bit of fanfare.

I think that I am one of the few people that is for the return of the Diana Prince persona. I look at it in the same fashion that they changed Captain Marvel's name to SHAZAM officially, it's what Pop Culture remembers about the character. I also think that forcing creative teams to work in this dynamic would help to create some stability around her if she's to be teamed with Steve Trevor and Etta Candy again. Perhaps she should run the occasional mission with ARGUS to help reestablish that dynamic with familiar supporting casts.

I think the OP is being a bit over the top. All this Geoff Johns hate, because he put her and supes together, I didn´t like that, but he´s done it in a mostly respectful way of WW character and actually I´ve enjoyed JL mostly. I just don´t want supes giving her anymore life lessons she´s smart enough herself. I don´t think its as good as some runs or even one of the best JL runs, but out of the New 52 titles I enjoy it personally. Its better than WW solo. If he brings back Diana Prince, I just think it depends how he approaches it. I think people should see where he goes with it.

His Shazaam stuff is pretty cool as well and Aquaman fans are happier with him than WW fans are with Azzerrello. He´s writing much better stuff than most of New 52.

@joshmightbe: what you wanna ditch jimmy olsen? guys, he´s no ones fav, but he´s a good part of supes mythos. not everyone likes Robin, but ditching him is drastic.

I hope sincerely they stop calling that publication Azzerrello is writing WW, start calling it Drama Of The Gods or something, and start actually doing WW comics again. Like superhero stuff, secret identity, supervillains etc. Thats what I hope. WW needs stability, not some guy on an acid trip with a weird beard running riot on her mythology. Don´t get me wrong its a cool comic and idea for WW, but it shouldn´t be her main publication. Mainly because its not her. Az is getting it wrong not Geoff.

That secret identity bullshit hasn't been part of her since the 80s. Hell even when Perez did reboot a lot of her villains it was based in mythology(I.e. cheetah)

@jphulk26: I don't hate Johns, he's a very good writer he just has a tendency to let his love for the most absurd era of comics history influence his stories more than they should on occasion and it stirs up memories of the oh so easy to ridicule silver age. Basically he makes himself an easy target. And Jimmy Olsen is one of my most hated characters so you'll get no sympathy from me in that area.

@jointron33: Yeah, but he didn´t fundementally change her origin he enhanced it. As for WW being about mythology, I think most of the good writers of her have dealt with the the gods and other mythological creatures; people go on like Azz is the first to do that. I actually think his run on WW is interesting in and of itself, but she´s been made boring, one dimensional; all I hear to describe her by people who like her run is capable and compassionate, as if that is all WW has grown to be. Half her powers are gone which pisses me off. What was wrong with animal empathy, I thought it was actually quite cool, especially when she used it with hunting animals like wolves or eagles as a battle strategy. Also how is an invisible or stealth plane uncool, but the bat plane kicks ass? That makes so much sense. I think they just need to think what was WW in her coolest runs ever and modernise that, is that so bloody hard?

Sorry for the rant, I know that isn´t an exact reply to what you said, but its just been boring for me since JMS and BA have just been pissing all over WW mythology - I just want to buy a WW comic. Then I can think about getting some other weird acid trip WW story if I want to. Geoff Johns JL has been the closest to that for me, inspite of major flaws. The rest of what New 52 is doing has just been too out there.

Actually, it was revived during Gail Simone's run if im not mistaken.
