The Amazon princess, blessed with god-like super abilities, Wonder Woman is one of Earth's most powerful defenders of peace, justice, and equality and a member of the Justice League. She is considered an archetype for many heroines outside of comic book. Her initial origin depicted her as a clay baby brought to life by patron goddess Aphrodite, but in recent years she has been depicted as the daughter of Zeus and Amazon queen Hippolyta.
In the Injustice battle arena(base of the new DC fighting game by Netherrealm Studios) Wonder Woman is going up against Batman. I'm calling all Wonder Woman fans with a facebook or twitter to vote for Wonder Woman's victory. Voting ends thursday. Even if you may not be interested in the game, people need to know WW owns.
Stan Lee predicted that Wonder Woman would win (not to mention he kept trolling Batman fans throughout the video). Calling it now, everybody will vote for whoever Stan Lee picked.
I know i was laughed the whole video. The Batman fans were like "He's from Marvel, he doesn't know anything about DC" If the Comic Legend says WW will win, you have no choice but to win.

Not to mention I saw comments that placed some intelligent and valid arguments to why Wonder Woman would win. You wanna know the arguments most of the Batfans made?
"HE'S THE GODDAMN BATMAN HE CAN WIN ANYTHING!!!"
"BATMAN IS THE BEST SUPERHERO EVER FUCK YOU!!!"
"Batman can win with enough prep time"
"Because he's Batman"
God, reading those comments made me mad but at the same time they made me lol so hard.
obviously Wonder Woman should win, but Batman will win, cause its random facebook voting. I mean how else do you think Joker and Aquaman advanced. It's a popularity vote not who would actually win
If it was a popularity matchup, Batman would win without question. But even though Bats is my favorite all-time superhero, if it's a question of battle, then I'll have to give it to Wonder Woman.
Also, @theOVOXO , judging from your username, are you by any chance a Weeknd fan?
Let's give the fanboys there big day (if ever Batman wins)...Injustice would probably be the only time Batman can win over WW. He can't win over Diana in any storyline in any comic books, cartoons, and even in the minds of the DC writers...this is their once in a lifetime chance. :D
I also think this shouldn't be taken so seriously, now if Batman kicked WW butt in the Injustice comic, that would ludicrous!

These. Wonder Woman should win, but won't. Batman will not just win this match but will also win the tournament.
Batman fan quote "B-man is one of the worlds greatest unarmed opponents, and I'm not saying WW's not great, but B-man could dodge most of her attacks. Plus, he could handle getting thrown around a bit if she does land a punch (such as when he fights Bane). If WW wraps him in lasso of truth, he could send a taser pulse through it to her (or something awesome like that). From JLA Tower of Babel he wld just do this until she frustrated from not winning, then she gets sloppy and he wins... BECAUSE HE'S BATMAN!!!!!"
This is the mentality we´re dealing with. @Goddessa:
Wonder Woman should win this. She's more powerful, more skilled, and is just overall better. I don't think prep was involved, but the idea of Batman beating Wonder Woman with prep is just... no.
@comicace3: I don´t hate Batman, I don´t think alot of people do, if anything I just don´t like his fanboys. They are Nolanite bandwangoners, who tend to know little or nothing about comics. But I love Batman, in my top 5 superheroes.
@CitizenBane: I´m going to enjoy your reaction when puberty hits.
I don't mind the half-baked insults, but you could at least put some effort into it. A shoddy job like this just makes me feel inadequate. Was there not a sharper line that sprung to mind? A zinger that would actually hurt? Some retort that is not the preserve of infantile internet forum posters? Come on, man. Give it some thought and get back to me.
@CitizenBane: To be honest I didn´t take much time to think of it, I was just trying to come up with something as lame and immature as your comment, just to show you how irritating such comments are, so I think my insult hit just about the right level.

I am Jack's crushing disappointment.
Batman's still going to win. You know that, right? You know that if you held what essentially amounts to a popularity contest between Batman and Wonder Woman, Batman's going to win by a mile? Ok, you know that. I'm sure someone appreciates the effort all of you are putting in, not that it's going to actually amount to anything, but once you add in the typical elements of bitterness and anti-Batman resentment and the "lol look at how dumb the batman fanboys r" posts that everyone everywhere uses to compensate for the fact that their favorite heroes aren't as popular as Batman is and will never get half the exposure he does, I'm going to feel justified in my smugness.
The truth cuts deeper than any insult I could possibly come up with.
But hey, I suppose bizarre things could happen and Wonder Woman could win, though I wouldn't bet any money on it. That's cool, too. I'm clearly not as invested in this outcome as others. Batman's still going to have TV shows and video games and multiple ongoings and movies and merchandising out the wazoo even if Diana wipes the floor with him in some arbitrary bit of promotion for a niche fighting game. Wonder Woman can keep her one comic, vague plans for maybe-possibly a CW show, and the pipe dreams for a solo movie.
@CitizenBane: Uh, you know I won´t be upset if Diana loses right? I don´t think any of us had the illusion that this was magically going to turn things around and suddenly if she won, she´d become the biggest superhero ever. That was never the point of my petition. I wanted to show support for 1. Wonder Woman, because she´s a great interesting character, and, it would be a diservice to the world if her story wasn´t told for a mass audience; as it is every bit as inspiring a message as any superhero story out there. That coming from someone whose been a huge Batman and Superman fan since I was at least six years old. 2. I wanted to support female superheroes in general, due to DC´s idiotic notion that female superheroes can´t support their own films, cartoons etc. Wonder Woman getting a successful film or animated series, isn´t just like any superhero getting one, its a message, that white, middle class, straight, males are not the only people who deserve superheroes. That they are not the only ones deserving of being depicted as heroic. The reason I´ve chosen WW as the ideal candidate in my mind to make this a reality, is because she is both the first and by far the most unique mainstream female superhero. As I´ve said in past, she´s not just a great female superhero, she´s a great superhero period. So to me it really doesn´t matter, I will voice my opinion on this until the right thing is done, I will find all types of avenues to express this opinion, whether or not my appeal is successful or not, I will sleep better knowing I tried, and that one day, their may be a future generation of little girls who watch Wonder Woman and are as inspired by her message as I am.
So the truth doesn´t hurt me at all my friend, it fuels me.

Too long; didn't read; didn't really care either.

Cool. The end goal of all things should be sleeping better, I always say.
Batman still wins, nothing is going to change, and I am still looking forward to the inevitable reactions this forum will produce when that video comes out.
It's so easy to give in. The path before you is so clear, so simple. Accept fate.
Trash talking is inherently expected in these types of events and is even part of the fun, there was no reason to get personal. In these threads instigating is not trolling, it is participating.
Besides, everyone knows Batman fans, will be busy creating multiple accounts to vote because they have nothing better to do on a Friday night. And let's not forget that by the time they are done reading all those issues, they are broke because they spent all their allowances, so Saturday is probably clear too.
Come on, someone laughted right? Btw not a personal attack, i didn't find anything wrong with CB's comment, just competitive trash talk.
