How would you do the movie?

I would have Louis Leterrier directing

Cheeta would be the villain with Ares behind the scenes and the main for the sequel

her costume would be based on theses with out the helmet:

She would be played by Tanit Phoenix

It should have elements of Gods and Mortals

No Invisible jets

Her power levels start out as "normal" amazon but is granted power of the gods later on

Her feminist ideas would not be dumbed down

Gail Simone would be some kind of adviser

I would take more time casting than writing and shooting combined.

I would love if Gail Simone wrote the movie. She wrote the perfect Wonder Woman and I feel she could make her the same way on movie screens.

For actress I watched the Wonder Woman pilot and I though Adrianne Palicki was actually very good. I would choose her or someone else who looks and can act really good.

We start off in Ancient Greece setting up Antiope, Circe and Hippolyta as the Amazon rulers guarding a great treasure. They are betrayed by men, Antiope throws herself off a rock, Circe tries to take advantage and helps to betray the Amazons while Hippolyta is left to pick up the pieces. The Gods decide to make them immortal on paradise island, isolated from the world to guard the treasure (or what's left of it) Flash forward a few thousand years, Girl is born from clay, yadda, yadda, she's near perfect, no challenges left on the island etc ... Steve Trevor crashes on the island and they have to get him back. Afraid of the outside world, the Amazons set up a challenge, Diana wins and takes Trevor back. Cue the fish out of water scenes. Meanwhile the treasure on Themiscyra is stolen. Setup the story's main villain, introduce incidental side-character Barbara Minerva (she'll be Cheetah in the next movie) and reveal the real villain : Circe. Diana then has to save the day, gets the treasure back, spites Circe, Minerva is hinted at as the Cheetah. Bonus, Antiope did survive and we can have the Bana-Mighdal Amazons in a future sequel. Also a nice bit where a feisty-teenager redhead inspired by Diana beats up several guys trying to molest her (Artemis) ...

The villain can be anything from Maxwell Lord to just another random character made up for the purpose of the film.

The treasure you ask ? Relics of the Titans, well of souls, something that should not fall in the wrong hands, but does anyway ...

That should be more than adequate for a standard Hollywood production I guess.

I like this idea very creative.

I'd like to know how they'd be able to pull off a villain in a WW movie... Perhaps if they tweak up Dr. Psycho's character a little or try really hard on a decent version of Cheetah I could see either of them working for the first movie.

I think they could make it a little different, and I would like to see some history of the Amazon tribes, with some of the notable Amazons of the comics: besides Diana and Hippolyta, of course an adult Donna (who may appear in the movie as Troia or some other name), Artemis, Nubia, Orana and even Paul von Gunther, explained within 10 minutes by a voice-over and a series of flashbacks showing the Tournament and WW being crowned by Hippolyta, going to man's world, battling Paula and returning her to PI, etc.

This movie would not be Diana initialy becomming WW, but after that time. Maybe a new tournament highlighting some of the other Amazon talents. Maybe Artemis and/or Orana could win the tournament, instead of Diana. One threat could be outside PI, and another on the island. There WW could meet and fight some opponents she faces in the comics: Cheertah, Giganta, Silver Swan.

I actually wonder this too at times. I read somewhere that for a WW movie for a script they would create a whole new villain for it.

I actually thought they should adapt the animated movie from 2009, I love that film

Of course they would have to put more story into it. Maybe include some more of Dianas mythos in it. Definitely have her unable to fly....that whole element just made her...i don't know...less graceful...more bad ass

I think I'd cast Olivia Wilde as Wonder Woman. Circe would be the villain, played by Charlize Theron (with dark hair). Circe would be assisted by a young Cheetah, possibly Lyndsy Fonseca, who would take over as the villain in the second film. I would also do without the invisible jet. The plot would center around Circe planning to wipe out humanity. WW fights to stop this. At the end after defeating Circe, Cheetah would destroy Themyscira and build her own empire...thus leading into a sequel.
