How do you think Wonder Woman would be if she never had powers to begin with. Would if she just had enhanced abilities just like Deathstroke. How would her relationships with Batman, Superman, Steve Trevor, and The Justice League change? How do you think her fights with Deathstroke and her villains would change? I know this was done in the comics before but I don't think it was to this degree.
Wonder Woman
Character » Wonder Woman appears in 8805 issues.
The Amazon princess, blessed with god-like super abilities, Wonder Woman is one of Earth's most powerful defenders of peace, justice, and equality and a member of the Justice League. She is considered an archetype for many heroines outside of comic book. Her initial origin depicted her as a clay baby brought to life by patron goddess Aphrodite, but in recent years she has been depicted as the daughter of Zeus and Amazon queen Hippolyta.
How would Diana be like without powers.

i don´t know and I don´t want to know. By the way if you´re interested Danny O´Neil did something like that. Its not very good.
Can easily do wonder woman with no powers like Batman or with a little bit of powers like Captain America, Deathstroke, Bourne Legacy, etc. If Wonder Woman has no powers like Batman, she would have a hard time beating an enhanced person like Deathstroke and Deathstroke also has healing powers like Wolverine so I don't think a non powered Wonder Woman can beat Wolverine. For movie fighting females, most of them do have enhanced powers like Matrix, Resident Evil, Underworld, etc. In the golden age, the powers of Wonder Woman and Superman were not too impressive and you can even hurt Superman with a tank, and both Superman and Wonder Woman could not fly in the beginning. The power levels of Superman went to solar system levels in the silver age and Wonder Woman's power levels lagged a little bit behind Superman but they did fight each other like in the bronze age JLA 143 when Wonder Woman was possessed by the Construct.
Since Batman is selling well, it is also possible to make Wonder Woman like Batman and make tons of money like Batman. You can easily turn Wonder Woman and the amazons into a female ninja group like the League of Shadows. Ninjas tend to make tons of money.
I also have fond memories of the brief time when Wonder Woman became the UK Avengers Diana Rigg. The Uk Avengers Diana Rigg was also an interesting character and the UK Avengers was a popular tv show.
She'd rely heavily on her martial combat, and considering hers is based off Amazonian training I guess she'd be like the best of the best street leveler.
If Wonder Woman and amazons become like ninjas, they should be able to beat Batman, Catwoman, Green Arrow, Lady Shiva, Bronze Tiger, Richard Dragon and Karate Kid.
@colonyofcells: wonder woman with all her powers can also sell a lot if is done right, good story, good marketing that's all you need.
@lilben42: without powers she would be the ultimate xena warrior princess and with more powerful weapons.
but her villans should be depowered too, cheetah would be a meta-human,circe would be replaced by a normal sorceress, and ares would be replaced by an enchanted warrior from mythology, maybe achilles.
@lilben42: you can bet you'd buy it if i was the writer, just kidding, but my vision would be:circe puts a curse on wonder woman with the help of zeus and other gods that don't like her, taking away her powers and she has to find a way to recover them,it would be the best way to show the full level of her fighting skills and intelligence having her depowered for some time, and when she finally gets her powers back, bang!,she is more powerful than before, that should be arazzello second arc,why is her punshing me with his run?,he better start to do something better with her character.
It make a great idea for an event. A World Wide decimation of super powers like act of god but better. The impact on characters would be great. Superman would actually enjoy it at the beginning. He would be done with heroics and try to live a normal life.Wonder Woman would hate it still wants to fight crime so her starts working with Batman. She trains with him and he starts outfiting her with gadgets. The two of them get close.
@GWHH: they didn't make her too strong, she was always supposed to be powerful enough to compete with superman, and it should stay that way.
Even without powers, she'd probably be a top tier human specimen. Smart, good looking, athletic, handy with a sword ...
@GWHH: marston(wonder woman creator)said it himself,my intention was to create a female as strong as superman, with all the compassion of a tender and peace loving woman, that's what marston said, you can search for it.
@colonyofcells: The power levels of Superman went to solar system levels in the silver age and Wonder Woman's power levels lagged a little bit behind Superman
really?are you has scan can prove it?because even in the Silve age ,wonder woman never have a feats can make she put on sA superman strength level,in the silver age, entire DCU woman (super strength)only Supergirl have feats to prove she was close to SA superman strength
@a88378438: maybe in golden age,in golden age wonder woman moved the sun with ease, but i don't remember her doing something like that in the silver age.
Oh,I'm read this thread, wow,i'm understand why a lot of people hate high level feats, because they are want to wonder woman without power!
Nice!if wonder woman without power, she's skills would be very Important, but she cant toe with toe fight to superman,no way,she just another canary
@powerwoman: Oh no I would not want her without powers. At least not for a long time. She would be kind of boring without them to be honest. I could see Diana using kryptonite if she had to fight Superman without powers.
@lilben42: Yeah, you like wonder woman strength and speed?i'm like too,so,i want to see wonder woman has high level of strength and speed feats, not just skills
for now, superman is too much stronger and too much faster than her,i dont like it
Without Wonder Woman powers currently Diana is a demigod so she still has that going for her. Before the reboot she is still golem bless with by the gods she has to have something going for with deep inside.
She has enchanted weapons and amazonian training. You just said her without powers. You did not say anything about gear. She may be more brutal.
These are some examples of Wonder Woman with NO powers. Obviously she normally has her powers and I very much prefer that.
She is in the same strength category as the strongest hero’s in the DC universe BUT… I also want people to understand that she is also the ONLY highly skilled highly trained Powerhouse superhero in the DC universe.
There are no other hero’s at her strength level who have fighting skill even close to Wonder Woman. It’s the combination of Strength Speed and Fighting Wisdom that makes Wonder Woman. They are all perfectly balanced.
Wonder Woman does Not have just RAW STRENGTH like some people think. Wonder Woman is not a Female Superman
Wonder Woman without Powers
AND NO MEMORY
Wonder Woman without Powers
Still Skilled enough to Block Bullets
This is my interpretation of Wonder Woman VS the DC universe. With All her Powers. Fighting Ability and Raw Strength.

That issue with Diana without powers doesn't appear to be from the Silver Age, so where did you get those panels? But this kind of makes sense because she was fighting out of instinct and reflexes, but, again, I hate when they go that far and pull that Mary Sue crap on us. With all those opportunities, one or more should have finally knocked her back down. They somehow got her in the coffin when she was fully cognizant so why wouldn't they get her while she's disoriented and becoming aware of herself? This is where I loved Messener-Loebs' run; he did similar things to this, but finally minus the Mary Sue crap; it was really a breakthrough in ideas.
@dshipp17: She has lost her powers a few times in Wonder Woman volume 2
They did not get her into the coffin she was transported there with no memory and these things attacked her
Fair enough, but please cite the DC comic books and issues where you got those scans and those few times in Wonder Woman volume 2 where she was powerless. I believed those scans came from elsewhere, because I'm almost near certain that Wonder Woman has never lost her powers in her own book, post crisis, not even that bit with JMS' run; maybe she was weakened but not powerless.
