    Wonder Woman

Character » Wonder Woman appears in 8808 issues.

The Amazon princess, blessed with god-like super abilities, Wonder Woman is one of Earth's most powerful defenders of peace, justice, and equality and a member of the Justice League. She is considered an archetype for many heroines outside of comic book. Her initial origin depicted her as a clay baby brought to life by patron goddess Aphrodite, but in recent years she has been depicted as the daughter of Zeus and Amazon queen Hippolyta.

Poll Gender Civil War (17 votes)

    That would be awesome 35%
    Wouldn't really like it 65%

I was checking out Thundra's bio since I find her relatable to Wonder Woman in a way and I was shocked. She comes from a world where there is a war between men and women. You can read more about it at this link: http://marvel.com/universe/Thundra

It was interesting to read and it gave me an idea. I think DC should do another alternate timeline event where Earth is divided between men and women. I want to see Wonder Woman lead all the female heroes and villains in a civil war.

I think gender tension is just the type of thing the Wonder Woman comics are designed to take on, just like the Batman comics is about the police detective, or was once a point of time. But, a gender civil war is a bit too extreme for what I have in mind. This is another good way of saying that Dr. Psycho is her arch villain. It's baffling that DC has not taken this route in the Wonder Woman comics in so many years of publication. It's definitely an impression that most male readers have of Wonder Woman, so why not just exploit the angle for the good of the character.

Maybe, as long as it was only an Elseworld. I imagine that WW would be like the one from Flashpoint in that universe.

You see, now this a story where they could reuse Flashpoint Diana and not make her seem like a one dimensional b!tch. Oh wait.
