She is considered an archetype for many heroines outside of comic book. Her initial origin depicted her as a clay baby brought to life by patron goddess Aphrodite, but in recent years she has been depicted as the daughter of Zeus and Amazon queen Hippolyta.

    Yep they´re pretty bad. I thought the first episode was great cause I like to see different takes on origin stories, but this is why you need to constantly update media images of superheroes, cause I think this show is largely responsible for why people think WW is lame these days. But actually I appreciate the show for the time, and limited budget it had, but time for something new. I mean remember the same could be done for George Reeves superman or Adam Wests Batman.
