    The golden age was horrible for that.  I dont know how many times I have read that someone caught in the golden lasso says "I don't want to tell the truth, but I am compelled to."

    You mean the Easter Island guys?  I think it was issue 65 volume 1. 

     

    Or you mean the sphinx?  Its not the one with the sphinx on the cover which makes it hard to find.  It is early golden age though.
