Katherine Webb!
@Jorgevy: No, she's Miss Alabama who has no acting skills what so ever, a fresh face!
@Jorgevy: Fresh face, she could learn. Actors have to start somewhere , why not her? Besides not all actor go to acting school or performing arts before scoring major roles are any acting roles at all. Some actors are just picked right out of the blue. I bet many don't even remember Johnny Depp in Nightmare on Elm Street, he came out of nowwhere, look at his success now. I'd rather see a virtual unknown in th role of Wonder Woman rather than some over exposed actress diva. I think she'd be great,if not on the big screen then the possible WW tv series on the Cw if that happens.
She has the look and considering what's been going on with her lately, I am sure she will be picking up some training in regards to at least journalism since she will be covering the SuperBowl for Inside Edition.
I do think it should be an unknown. But I don't think a movie will be done for a while yet.
I'm going to go ahead and say it. If we can get a good-looking woman who can portray the independent woman attittude it doesn't matter who plays WW
@lykopis: JLA movie and the possible CW tv series!
@evilvegeta74:
I see a Justice League movie first, for sure. Depending how it's received, maybe then some studio will take her on. I am sick of waiting for it -- just do it, dammit.
Not too keen about a television series. If it's not top notch, it's going to be panned badly.

not saying it can't be a fresh face or some one inexperienced. Im saying it has to be someone GOOD - for all I know she is genial or terrible, but I don't know and she has done nothing to show if she has any talent in that area, so why?
With Wonder Woman I would definitely prefer them get the look right, over choosing some popular hollywood it girl. That woman is beautiful and has the appearance you would expect from a real life Diana.
I want the character I love being represented well in a movie with a good story that's true to her books. Don't give a $h!t if it wins awards or not.
@evilvegeta74: Nah, she really doesn't have the experience. I mean, sure, all actors have to start, but I want Wonder Woman to be played by someone with experience in acting.
She looks like she could be a Wonder Woman.
I don't know, there's something very Republican looking about her. I think it's her big teeth that makes it seem like she could be related to Mitt Romney. No one has bigger teeth than the Kennedy's and they're Democrats, so I could be wrong. Maybe it's the shark-like look in her eyes?
My vote was for Hope Dworaczyk back when she was on "Celebrity Apprentice" but her eyes are brown.

Phoebe Tonkin totally has it facially but she doesn't have the right body type.

For "Amazon" I think they should go with a teenaged unknown that will hopefully, eventually look good in the costume.
@ImmortalOne: lynda carter didn't have too much experience as an actress and she did a great job.
@Jorgevy:lynda carter didn't have too much experience as an actress and she did a great job.
@gokuwarrior: Yeah, but choosing between a new actor and one with more experience, I would always choose the more experienced one. That way, we can be more confident that there will be a better performance.
@gokuwarrior: Actually she had won some sort of beauty contest as well!
@evilvegeta74: but she hadn't experience as an actress at the time and wasn't known as one either.
@gokuwarrior: Exactly, just like Katherine Webb.

@Pokeysteve: : I like what you said!
@TDK_1997: @Pokeysteve: Anytime! When I think of who should play portray Wonder Woman, I'm think of the embodiment of character, the essence of the character, not just Fan boyism of some random or popular actress. I saw Katherine Webb on Tv and did a web check and figured she'd would be a great fit, regardless of her background. You described what should be ideal for a WW portrayal, in which I 100% agree. When WW walks into a room she should command the attention of the whole room, without uttering a word. Katherine Webb was at a BCS National championship game and caught the attention of a nation and then some. I f she isn't suitable to play WW then who is , I mean really who?
My apologies if this has already been suggested, but I think Bridget Regan (Legend of the Seeker) could pull off Diana very well. Not only can she look the part as shown in LotS as Kahlan but she has also shown that she does well with action sequences.
@Supes1903:

I see where you're coming from! Compare!

Her beauty doesn't embrace you and pull you in, she's very pretty but there's a coldness to it. Besides, you can see her sternum between her breasts and that's never a good look. It makes me want to buy her a foot long hoagie and a Big Gulp.
@SCORPIO_CASSADINE: I hear you! Scorpio-Cassadine is that name a tribute to General Hospital?

Her fitness level isn't too important just yet. She's not going to just walk on set as is. If she's done right they'll need her to do combat and weapons training and she can buff up a smidge. With her look I think that's a pagent thing. That cold steely gaze lol.

Yeah, it's the name of my two favorite Port Charles' families put together; there was never a character called "Scorpio Cassadine". I came up with it to use on the GH message board and liked it, so I transferred it over to comicbook sites. Out of all the soap operas GH is the most male friendly and action/adventure driven with it's mob storylines, but my aunt got me hooked on it when I was a kid.
Get an actress. That's what will get people to like Diana. How she is portrayed. Not getting some model who is not believable in the role because she's Miss Alabama.

Welling was a model then turned to acting.he wasn't plucked out of his modeling gig for the role.
