CBR posters agree that WW fans are craziest/fussiest

#1 Edited by Ms. Invisible (3292 posts) - - Show Bio

I just found this poll absolutely frickin' hilarious.

http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=303448

If you click the "View Results" link, you'll find that Wondy leads by a MILE. That made me laugh so hard. I'm actually still giggling a little.

Having shown you the link, what do the Viners have to say about this?  What are peoples' experiences with WW fans (outside and inside of the Vine)?

I remember reading part of a thread about which character having the craziest fans on these forums and I remember seeing no mention of Wonder Woman. I don't think many people here in the Vine must come across many WW fans. Or maybe I need to show a little bit more of my craziness. I dunno.

Personally, I think WW fans are just passionate rather than fussy or crazy (but then again, define "fussy" and "crazy"). I mean seriously, Wonder Woman is probably the most inconsistent out Superman and Batman. I can see why WW fans wouldn't think twice about voicing their opinions cos they're so used to it, seeing as they're doing it all the time.

Continuing on on the inconsistent issue, I'd say Wonder Woman has the most dramatic differences in each age (ie. Golden Age, Silver Age etc.). Because of that, I can see why WW fans are so adamant on holding onto their beloved views.

I find it funny that the lack of cohesion with WW fans is what keeps us together!

And edit:

Having said all that...

WE'RE NUMBER ONE! WE'RE NUMBER ONE!

They've probably never seen Comicvine's Storm fans before :p

Wonder Woman's one of my favorite characters, easily in the top three. Not trying to be arrogant or anything but its been my experience that Wonder Woman fans (at least here on the Vine), while being passionate, still seem to be level headed people.

Apparently not at CBR.  That really surprises me, since the Wonder Woman fans around here usually seem pretty level-headed (except for Gambler ;)

Thanks, but as I've not bought any Blackest Night I'm not going to start with one issue just to find out why she's been punched through the chest & by whom.  So what's happening?

You mean anything Teen Titan related? Or comics in general?

This actually doesn't surprise me that much because, if you look closely, it says which DC character, not any character. Most of the characters listed barely have fans, let alone fanboys. With that said, Superman and Batman should still beat her by a lot.

Wonder Woman fans have something to back up there claims unlike most other fanboys she can kick the sh#t out of 2/3rd the comic world

Wonder Woman fans can be batsh*t crazy. That one scene of Cassie's death gave way to some very vocal and opposing posts varying from "NO!!! WHY DOES DC HATE THE WONDER WOMAN FAMILY?!?!?!" to "Yes!! That little **** is finally dead!!"

i am actully glad that we are winning :) we are crazy lol
#21 Posted by WW-Fan (2738 posts) - - Show Bio

btw what dose fanboys mean?

#22 Posted by Dynoblaze (147 posts) - - Show Bio

The official DC message boards must be where they got their opinion of WW fans. THOSE WW fans while not too crazy ARE VERY FUSSY.

#23 Posted by Sparda (15795 posts) - - Show Bio

All fans are generally just as bad as the others, I find. Just depends on where you go.

On CV though? WW is definitely not the worst.

That's because I'm not on CBR...I alone would show the community of CBR that I am the craziest/fussiest--

Who am I a fan of...?

Quick, someone give me a name.
