    Wonder Woman

Character » Wonder Woman appears in 8808 issues.

The Amazon princess, blessed with god-like super abilities, Wonder Woman is one of Earth's most powerful defenders of peace, justice, and equality and a member of the Justice League. She is considered an archetype for many heroines outside of comic book. Her initial origin depicted her as a clay baby brought to life by patron goddess Aphrodite, but in recent years she has been depicted as the daughter of Zeus and Amazon queen Hippolyta.

    Can she still fly?

She hasn't been depicted flying at all and I am starting to believe that she can't fly now.

I believe she can be seen flying in Justice League Dark #1. I could be mistaken or that could have been simply a communication mishap.

Azzarello said she can hover (maybe that's why she was walking on water in issue 5). He says she's only gonna fly judiciously, so he can focus on her other abilities.

Justice League #8 made me very happy! Kinda funny that we get more of what we expect from Wonder Woman in the Justice League comic than in her own!

I think this is a mistake you can also see aquaman in the air and appears to be flying we already saw her carried by Hal. The only way we can make sure if she can fly is if she does it in her own book.

Am I the only one who thinks Wonder Woman being able to fly is kind of ... weird?

It doesn't seem to be a power that fits her.

Maybe it's the lack of a cape, but she seems designed to be an Earth-bound character.

That and all the f**king invisible jets she's had over the years.
