My God this is outrageous!!!! Am I the only one who thinks this is not right???!! It brings memories of the Halley Berry disaster as Catwoman. Who would you rather see as Wonder Woman??? I think Gemma Arterton would be great, she is Beautiful, and strong plus she allready proved in Clash of the Titans she can be a Warrior Princess.
As much as I like the idea of having her play an alternate version of Wonder Woman -- which would be really interesting in some way, I REALLY don't think Beyonce is a good choice for playing Wonder Woman in an live action movie, let alone acting the role. WB's wouldn't dare miss an opportunity of doing a Live action Wonder Woman movie, only to have someone mess it up for them just because of "hey, I'm Beyonce and I want to play Wonder Woman." That would be a waste.

@WW-Fan: I Googled images of her wondering what she looked like, thinking to myself "What does Bridget Regan look li...OH MY GOD SHE HAS SOME FANTASTIC LEGS" O.O Lol
I have no doubt that she would look fantastic in the costume, but that is just the stupidest thing I've ever heard in my life. Setting aside the whole ethnicity issue, she's not an actress. They should at least cast a competent actress in the role.

I just saw the first two episodes of "Legend of The Seeker" and I agree with you, I think she would do a great job as Wonder Woman. Hope she gets the role!
Haven't heard anything new about her playing WW ever since that original thread was posted over a year ago. So hopefully it isn't true. But, it wouldn't surprise me if she was cast as WW. WB is stupid like that.
@velle37: Well even though Halle Berry won an Oscar she is a terrible actress who was casted into a role wich not fitted her. Just because she had won an Oscar and she was the Hot actress at the moment. Likewise Beyonce has had little acting experience and all of this craze to make her Wonder Woman is just because she is a hot singer. And well to get the big fat elephant out of the room, I say with the greatest respect and with no intention to offend anybody, Wonder Woman is an Iconic character, and have allways been portrayed as a white female, eventhough I have no Idea how a young Amazonian themyschiran would actually look like. It would be awkward to cast an african american women as Wonder Woman the same way it would be awkward to have Nicole Kidman as Storm. Or Johny Depp as a young Martin Luther King.
Is this even serious?! Don't let Beyonce go near Diana. I dislike Beyonce so much, Dr Marston will be rolling in his grave if she plays Diana!!! NO just NO!
