    The Amazon princess, blessed with god-like super abilities, Wonder Woman is one of Earth's most powerful defenders of peace, justice, and equality and a member of the Justice League. She is considered an archetype for many heroines outside of comic book. Her initial origin depicted her as a clay baby brought to life by patron goddess Aphrodite, but in recent years she has been depicted as the daughter of Zeus and Amazon queen Hippolyta.

    i wondering why Wonder Woman isnt selling that well! is it beguse she is a Woman or maybe she need better villains maybe? or just her story is not good? what do you think?

    Circe, Cheetah and Ares and Dr Psycho are her best villains i think :) i think Angle Man should used more

    i actually havent heard of any of them except cheetah. Seems like WW could use some newer and stronger villains,

    I think Giganta is a pretty good one. At least in the animated series. But sure, why not throw in some new ones? There's not like a rule against new villains or anything, right?

    Wonder Woman is one of those characters that are lacking in the cool villains department.

    Yeah, a lot of her good fights are against other people's villains in Justice League and stuff.

    They should have went the way of Xena and had her fighting with and against more gods,tho I think now they couldn't really get away with it.

    I think there are a couple of points for WW not selling that well:
     

    1. She has a weak rouges gallery, I think some new blood needs to be pumped into them. Especially considering the plethora of characters the Greek/Roman mythology has to offer.
    2. She is to similar in character to Superman.
    3. Also most of the good stories she's been in are involving other characters, like JLA and the like. I don't remember the last great WW solo story. (not the biggest fan just an outsiders view of her stories)
    That's pretty much my two cents. The character has a ton of potential just like any other character, she just isn't being used to her fullest.

    I'm not the hugest fan of WW rogue's gallery, for sure, but at least she has one, unlike say Green Arrow who has like 3 or 4 regular villains. Ares, Psycho and Circe are the only really interesting ones for me. The rest seem a bit beneath her. They should beef up her villains or start incorporating other DC villains in her books.

    Come to think of it, if they ever made a set of Wonder Woman movies, she'd have enough villains, since in there's less then 5 villains in all 5 Superman movies (if you count the Zod and the other two as one).  
     
    But yeah, for the comics, what's stopping them from making some new ones?

    Out of those you mentioned, I only like Ares and Cheetah..the rest are meh. (Medusa was decent, though.) The lack of cool villains has probably something to do with it.

    They should improve the image of Wonder Woman's villains. She'd probably have more respect from people who don't really read her comics then. It's kind of like the Flash's villains. Many people consider them lame, but those are mostly people who don't read Flash comics.
