Good old brian micheal bendis referred to wonder woman as a walking std farm,and claimed that spiderwoman was great cause she had a nasty origin(he used another word for it) . 
now this is actually kinda old,but i've skimmed through the wonder woman thread and found nothing, 
what do wonder fans think?

That doesn't make any sense.

Was he being serious? i know he kids a lot, and then people take his comments out of context. I had so many arguments with Thor fans, after Bendis claimed that Ares would beat him, and I consider myself a Thor fan too lol Sometimes he likes to attract some heat and or attention for his characters.  
 
As a Wonder Woman fan, I ain't too offended, in the eyes of the public, Wonder Woman is still a big deal. As a fan of Spiderwoman, I am glad that Bendis will put the character before himself, since he sounds like a jerk, but people will take not of Spiderwoman a bit more. I wished Wonder Woman writers got a bit more aggressive with getting some new readers, and comments/comparisons, I think its beats the whole reset thing, outfit, setting, so on. 

1.I don't think Bendis was serious after reading what he actually said. 
2.Bendis has been making asinine comments like this for a while.I don't know if he's attention whoring,trying to stir something up or he's being serious what I do know is someone like Bendis has no right making such asinine comics.Right a good book past '06 first,then you can talk about Wonder Woman. 
3.I wish Bendis would stop liking Spider-Woman if what he's done with her shows she's one of his favorites I don't want his writing anywhere near her.I saw what he did with Cage when we found out he liked him....The worst leader in Avengers history.He wasted entire events on Queen Veranke so he had a premise for her solo book and it wasn't that good.She's had far better solo books years ago.

Bendis sucks.
