The Amazon princess, blessed with god-like super abilities, Wonder Woman is one of Earth's most powerful defenders of peace, justice, and equality and a member of the Justice League. She is considered an archetype for many heroines outside of comic book. Her initial origin depicted her as a clay baby brought to life by patron goddess Aphrodite, but in recent years she has been depicted as the daughter of Zeus and Amazon queen Hippolyta.
The art really wasnt that bad to me. First few pages were weird but overall the art was fine. The story wasn't amazing and won't blow you away but this is a good issue and Diana and batman worked well together, they even comboed two thugs together and that was cool. It was also nice to see Diana be compassionate and understanding towards batman and the loss of his son. Diana isn't just the goddess of war, she is still a caring person and a hero.
Like I said this issue wasn't amazing but it was good and worth the money if you're following the story or just want to see batman and wonder woman work together.
Actually the art wasn't as bad as I expected once I read through the book...the Amazons are sure packing some muscles, but weren't they supposed to be like that in greek times? (minus the steroids, obviously!) Actually Batman and WW make a decent enough pairing.
i didnt mind that they made the amazons muscular, but why did they make Aleka so huge?she looked like she was 7' plus tall and 300 plus pounds of rock hard muscle.plus does WW not have any powers on the island?even in her title book Diana once punched her full force and didnt knock her off her feet.
i have a feeling that aleka is artemis replacement(hope not) but it would be cool if her and donna would come oh and about the issue.......nice but the art(not my favorite) plus just off my mind it would be cool to see WW/batwoman action :)
