Well technically, in 2015 it will be 100 years since William Marston discovered the process of his "Marston Deception Test" (popular as the lie detector) at Harvard University. But I thought I'd give everyone a heads up. Maybe to plan something special for the occasion.
2015 will also be the 100th anniversary of the film "Birth Of A Nation". A depiction of racist America.
Many people think that his lie detector was the inspiration for the magic lasso. That in itself is a LIE. The magic lasso was actually inspired by his psychological work in female emotions. The magic lasso symbolized "feminine charm".
Anyway, THIS year (July 28) will be the 100th anniversary of the start of World War 1. The war that took Marston away from college for a while, to work in the counterintelligence department of the army, using his Marston Deception Test.
