I just got done watching this movie. I bought it without a rental, or even seeing a clip. The blu ray was on sale at Best Buy.
Glad I did it also. This is a very good movie. They should have released it to theaters. Even in a limited run. I bet the popularity would have grown. I am not saying Transformer numbers, but cream does have a way of rising to the top.
The story is basically the origin story, with a battle with Aries thrown in. Keri Russel does a good job as Wonder Woman, but most of the best lines are given to her "Waitress" co star Nathan Fillon who plays Steve Trevor. Alfred Molena has the gravitas in his voice to pull of Aries, and Rosario Dawson doesn't do to poorly as Artemis.
If this movie does have a Flaw, I would have to say there were no singular wow moments. Not one particular scene stands out. This might be a good thing to some, but to me it was a very very small blemish on an otherwise really cool movie.

I was really excited to finally rent and watch the Wonder Woman movie, and just got through it today!
On the plus side, it was fantastic to have such an animated version of Wonder Woman to watch. The fighting scenes all illustrated Wonder Woman's amazing strength, which was awesome to see. The way in which the story was told I thought was good.
But I do have to admit I was a little disappointed. Although the things I didn't like are rather small. Such as the color of Diana's hair.. see i told you it was little things haha. Also, I thought for some one who has never read the comics might not enjoy it as much, but I guess this is true for everything.
I have only been reading volume 2 Wonder Woman comics, but I can already tell that the way woman are portrayed is completely different. I guess I can say that a feminist would not think kindly to certain things. Like what was up with the way Etta Candy looks like haha, she was never like that.
Overall though I enjoyed it.
