Here is a First Comic Book Appearance That Gets Overlooked

This issue has what I assume are the first appearances of the Nina, Pinto and Santa Maria (Christopher Columbus’ ships) in comic book format.    The first story deals with Steve Trevor challenging Wonder Woman to marry him if she has to save him three times in one day.   The second story is a two part one and takes on what would usually be the second two stories.   This story is not bad, Diana and Steve are trapped in a hall of mirrored doors and opening one door transports them through time to a place where they have to save the regular timeline (enter Columbus’ ships.)   In the end they defeat the time lord who is responsible (though Diana invents herself a new power to do so.)   There are back stories on what different wedding dowries from around the world and the meaning of dreams in relation to romance.    The first story was one of the golden age ones I don’t like as much with the doting Diana willing to do anything for Steve, but the second story was actually pretty fun, and it brought the whole issue up to a higher standard.
