razzatazz's Wonder Woman #139 - The Day Wonder Woman Revealed Her Secret Identity review

    Don’t try this at home

On the eve of the costume ball Diana has to impersonate herself impersonating Wonder Woman so that her secret identity won’t be revealed.   In the process she loses her memory and thinks she really is Diana Prince.   In the end another blow to the head gives her back her full memory.   I have to remind people that if someone is amnesiac the best way to deal with the problem is not to hit them in the head.

The issue fails for a few reasons, mostly too much unexplained things, random bad guys show up and do bad stuff without any explanation.   Also Diana destroys an enemy submarine full of spies (she was really more into killing people back then.)   Another shoddy issue from a shoddy era, do yourself a favour and skip ahead a few years.   (There is also a page on strange romantic customs.)
