    Throne Wars

    The Story So Far

This issue shows us that Hera has enlisted the services of Apollo and Artemis in order to retrieve Zola and here child. While she is at the doctors office they show up and we get a fight between them and Wonder Woman, Hermes, and Lennox. Apollo and Artemis take Zola back to Hera and we find out that she wanted her in exchange for the throne. Our heroes are set on stopping that from ever happening.

    Hit

Although it doesn't end in a victory of her, we get to see Wonder Woman in some action. I like how Apollo's strength is showcase in this one and we see that his is physically superior than Wonder Woman. This will make his eventual defeat more satisfying. He also get sense of his ruthlessness. This issue was paced well, even though it read a little fast. I like where this story is headed. It did a good job of making we want to see what happens next issue.

    Miss

This makes me sound really superficial, but Wonder Woman needs to always look good. I am not saying she always has to be scantily clad and sexed up, but her face should always look appealing. I felt like she looked almost like a different character, depending on the panel. I know it was to help introduce us to Artemis but the scene with Demeter seemed unnecessary.

    Your Job

I do recommend picking this up, even if you are just starting Wonder Woman. It's a good point to get into the story.

      Wonder Woman #11 0

I just got to read this issue today, and once again, I. am. loving. it. I have enjoyed a couple runs of Wonder Woman in the past, but never once did I think that it would be my favorite DC title. This 2011 series is. I read the official review before I was able to get to the comic shop and pick up my copy, so I was a little trepidatious about it. From what I was reading, this issue, while still awesome, felt a little rushed. Could Azzarello suddenly be rushing to finish an arc? That's possible. E...
