Wonder Woman #609, Almost There 2

In a near-death vision, Diana experiences the mental powers of Dr. Psycho! However, is he friend or foe? Let's Wrap This Up! 0

I've been trying to give this series a chance since the title character is my favorite heroine of all-time. That being said, I can't help but think I've been wasting three dollars a month since this revised origin took place in issue #601. The initial plan seemed like a fun idea, but with a shift in writers, story direction, and multiple artists, plus a totally new character almost totally unrelated to the Amazing Amazon except in name only, I quickly tired of this "Wonder Woman". It seemed that...

    Review: Wonder Woman 609 3

Wonder Woman has been on an Odyssey for a while now, and now it looks like she is begining to get back to her normal self. Wonder Woman fan should start getting excited!  THE GOOD: In this issue we get a little more information on what is going on with Diana and the time line. In this issue she takes a walk with Dr. Phyco and he tells her about her past lives. He also tells her the real Wonder Woman's origin, how Hipolita sculpted her from clay and her grew up and brought a man back to the man's...

    Messing With Us 1

There is a lot to like in this issue.  It is pretty much absent of any action, but that is completely understandable in comparison to the story arc, in which many issues have been overwhelmingly based on action.  Here a suave looking Doctor Psycho is taking Diana through the dark recesses of her mind, allowing her to rediscover who she is.  I enjoyed the part how it told various origins of her as it sort of sort of reminded me of the Perez explanation of where the Amazons came from, but put an i...

On the cover we see Wonder Woman fighting with herself in the different outfits she has worn in comics. A very interesting image that has nothing to do with the inside. Like always. Diana wakes up and sees Dr Psycho with a different appearance he’s not that ugly small man we see in the stories. He explains her who she is in different places and in different moments of history, she’s not only the leader of a town of women, she’s also the leader of men. When she returns to Themyscira in this pa...
