Confusing start
The War of the Gods was not my favourite crossover of all time. It might have had something to do with Wonder Woman being my favourite character and maybe expecting more out of the event. Here the story is still trying to wrap up the confusion of previous issues with the conspiracy against Diana which has been ongoing. Midway through the issue Heracles shows up and the action thereafter follows him, with his meeting with Atlas. Towards the end of the issue the store telling returns back to the Perez staple, that of using a police report to tell the action, as opposed to the usual comic story telling method. This only adds to the confusion. Mostly for an issue basically starting off the event (this is part 2 overall) it does not give it such a strong start. The art at times is also pretty sloppy at times.
