    Hermes' uncharacteristic behavior prompts a fight between he and Diana at his temple.

    As Queen Hippolyta and the other amazons, spend their first night in man's world in over a millennia with Princess Diana in New York City. Diana is unexpectedly summed by a Hermes and rushes off to meet with him. A confrontation ensues among Hermes, Diana and Mercury which leads to a vicious battle between Hermes and Mercury while Wonder Woman is caught in the middle.

     By this point it is clear that there is a dark figure behind the scenes manipulating things in this series (and soon into a DC wide event) and this issue is one of the products of this manipulation.   It begins with the after effects of the United Nations summit but quickly shifts to the which he has been trying to recreate for some time now with his divine powers.   A mysterious force interferes and forces him to do battle over his newly reformed temple though it is not entirely clear what is...
