    Intervention

A while back I brought up the subject of hero's need help from outside forces in order not to die.  This is one such issue, Diana and Steve are trapped by Dr. Cyber and one the verge of death Eros, the Greek God of love shows up and saves them (though it was hinted in the previous issue that he was in the vicinity.)  He is claiming that Diana is his true love and does anything he can to save her.  This is sort of a recycled plot from this era, but the twist at the end caught me off guard.  There was all right action sequences and the sub-plot with Etta took an interesting turn as well, but  it was still only an average issue.  The backup Huntress story was all right too, but I think it was one of those unfinished plotlines as the editor says she will be getting her own miniseries bu I don't think she ever did (seeing as Crisis is less than a year away and she ceases to exist).
