Most Marvel fans look to DC's Doctor Polaris and think he is a rip-off of Magneto, and while that may be true in certain senses it is always interesting remember that Doctor Polaris was first in terms of publication history. He is not as prominent a villain as Magneto is, so in a sense it is strange to see him show up here in the Wonder Woman title as to this point I am not sure if he has ever faced her at all, and if so probably only against the Justice League as a whole. He proves to be quite an engaging villain here even if he is somewhat one minded about his goal (to kill Hal Jordan). There is not a whole lot of the usual subplots going on here, just a good issue with enough action and enough intrigue. In the backup story someone is trying to blackmail Huntress out of her superhero identity and then later she gets caught in a trap.
