The Who is Wonder Woman? Part 3 wiki last edited by fesak on 05/11/13 06:23AM View full history

The adventures of the all-new Wonder Woman continue in Part 3 of the 5-part "Who is Wonder Woman" as three of her predecessor's most powerful enemies unite to declare war on the Amazing Amazon. But when Wonder Woman attempts to answer their challenge, she discovers a heroic figure from her past literally beating her to the punch. But who is the gods' new avatar? And where does that leave the new Wonder Woman?
Agent Prince (aka Diana) narrates for us that Wonder Woman is not just one woman, but an idea, a symbol, etc. As several powerful female heroes plot to stop the villains, Diana and a depowered Hercules launch  their own attack where all of them have to face a much more powerful Circe. She's absorbed the powers of Wonder Woman (all of them) and Hercules and fights for Hecate to avenge all wronged women.

It is just something I have been noticing these days.  However, the cover does give us more than just a pose picture this time around.   The interior art is still not up to snuff, however, the difference between this issue and last, is that the writing is going in the same direction. The Herculese story line is just leaving me...

The Circle is Complete 0

This issue does a few different things, but it does them all well.  it was somewhat expected at some point that with the new series that an origin story would need to be told, and they do that here, just a lot more succinctly.  There is also a fair amount of good interplay between Hercules and Diana (even though I have never been a big fan of Hercules in Wonder Woman comics.)   The raid Diana and Nemesis plan is also pretty cool, but the real treat is when Circe shows up.  She is not acting exac...
