razzatazz's Wonder Woman #25 - The Burning School review

    Invasive

The Invasion crossover was not one the best.  As opposed to having a unifying theme around it, it seemed to be more of a hodgepodge collection of issues (I have never actually read it, only read tie ins in various back issues.)  This issue takes Invasion and combines it with another one of my less-than-favourites from the time, the Justice League International.  It is not surprising therefore that this issue sort of fizzles.  The action is all right, but the plot can't seem to choose one direction.  It doesn't help that the Justice League with their attempt at humour in every panel have infiltrated these pages, nor that the regular artist is being replaced.  Just an average issue, nothing spectacular, and definitely not one of Perez's best.
