razzatazz's Wonder Woman #22 - Ends of the Earth, Part 3 of 4: A Cooperation of Killers review

    Synthesis

After a confusing couple of lead-in issues, this story arc finally comes together here.  It doesn't do so at the beginning of the issue rather at the end.  The beginning builds of the mystery even more as Diana has to fight her way back from one realm to another one.  At the same time Tom problems with the gorillas lead to an all out melee.  Ironically the melee  takes a different turn when Donna Troy shows up and almost as a herald the rest of the story arc finally becomes much more clear after her brief appearance.  The alternate realm that Diana was in at the beginning of the issue bothered me a little bit (mentioned a potential suitor and showed a picture of Superman) but by the end of the issue all was forgotten.

      Wonder Woman #22…its better. 0

Gail Simone has had a rough run with the Wonder Woman series. Things didn’t get off to a great start with the End of the Earth storyline, which runs for four issues. Last months issue was a much needed improvement, but it still wasn’t worthy to make Wonder Woman a star in the DC Universe. Wonder Woman #22…its better. Diana is one of the big three in the DC Universe, there is no denying that. When she was put into a storyline like this, well it just seemed a little bizarre. Issue #20 was just out...
