This issue picks up the pieces following the impressive Wonder Woman and Medusa battle in the previous issue. Wounds are tended to and accusations are made, notably by Diana against two separate gods. For how marvelous the previous issue was this basically serves as the plot and character development where the last issue was just an awesome battle. There are a lot of finer nuances here - the friction between Amazon and American doctors, the conflict between Diana and Athena, and then ever expanding role of Ferdinand. The growing contact between Circe and Veronica also looks to be something of note for suture issues, but really this issue is just one for the title to catch its breath after a great issue.
