razzatazz's Wonder Woman #178 - Doors Wide Open review

This issue explores love in three different senses.  First of all Diana is finally going on a date with Trevor Barnes and seems to be enjoying her self doing it.  Secondly Cassie is going through fan-mail and thinks she is being contacted by her father.  And then third Tempest shows up to visit Donna (which is like the love two friends share.)   The issue sort of focuses on this as its theme but it still manages to get enough intrigue and action in for the most cold-hearted readers.  It is a good lead-in to the next issue as well, ending as it does on a bit of a cliffhanger.  It is refreshing to see that love can be covered in such a way without having to revert to golden age cliches.
