razzatazz's Wonder Woman #174 - The Witch & the Warrior - Part 1 review

    Needs inspiration

This issue is suffering from the lag that Our Worlds at War dropped on the series (and really the entire DC universe.)  The first part of the issue deals with people mourning the losses from war and trying to re-establish order.  There is a scene with Diana yelling at a goddess's statue which doesn't do much to advance the story.  Afterwards Circe shows up again and starts transforming all men into animals while letting loose most of the female villains.  In what seems to be too much of a cliche Wonder Woman summons all the females heroes of the DC universe to join her in battle, which is basically where the issue leaves off.  Just overall too average and in need of some firm direction not provided by relaying on the substandard crossover for inspiration.
