On Paradise, there is a butterfly-catching contest, and the prize is to be Queen of Paradise Island for a day. During the contest, Queen Hippolyta, Wonder Woman, Wonder Girl, and Wonder Tot encounter a mirage. They enter the mirage, expecting it to disappear, but they become trapped in it instead.

Inside the mirage, they encounter encounter giant versions of themselves, who look upon them as insects and proceed to chase them with butterfly nets. The giants capture the queen, Wonder Tot, and Wonder Girl and proceed to preserve them as specimens. Wonder Woman, who has escaped on a giant butterfly, rescues them.

The whole Wonder Woman family is now fleeing on the butterfly but discover they cannot escape because the mirage has become real and their own world has become the mirage. The giant Wonder Woman family returns to the chase, and each member gets pinned down by her minute counterpart. The giants escape and very nearly catch their counterparts when night falls, causing the mirage to disappear and the real Paradise Island to return.

The outcome of the butterfly-catching contest is not recorded.
