The first story tells the story you never really wondered about, the origin of the expressions which Wonder Woman uses. These include -  "Thunderbolts of Jove!" "Suffering Sappho!" "Shades of Pluto!" "Hola!" "Neptune's Trident" and "Hera help me!"  This turns the first story into a string of not very interesting vignettes while at the same time breaking the fourth wall as the writer is prone to do.  The second story is also kind of weird as Diana returns to Paradise island only to figure out she has forgotten to buy her mother a birthday present, meaning she must run off to quickly find one.  After a series of adventures one almost falls right in her lap.  Suffice to say, this is another weak golden age issue.
