    After helping a group of Amazon girls pass their initiation rites, Wonder Woman is sent by Aphrodite to inspire a race of Venusian women to repel their enemies: the evil Seal Men, who have kidnapped Eve, daughter of Queen Desira.

    1. "Icebound Maidens" (Wonder Woman) written by Joyce Murchison, penciled and inked by Harry Peter.
    2. "Sojourner Truth" (Wonder Women of History) written by Alice Marble, penciled and inked by Alfonso Greene.

    At the behest of Aphrodite Venusian women found a colony in an Antarctic Eden only to be be set upon by the dangerous Seal Men. Wonder Woman goes to the rescue inspiring the Venusians to fight for themselves.

    After leaving Eveland Wonder Woman discovers a stowaway Venusian in her invisible plane. Persuaded to allow her to remain Wonder Woman sends her to stay with the Holliday Girls. However when an emergency message from Eveland warns of danger Wonder Woman, the Holliday Girls and the stowaway Venusian rush to the rescue.

    While demonstrating her newest invention to Steve Trevor Wonder Woman receives a cry from help from Eveland which is once more under threat from the Seal Men. They rush to Bitterland to prevent the women of Eveland from being enslaved.

    Wonder Woman #13 - Icebound Maidens by razzatazz on April 23, 2011

     I guess by this point they had run out of planets to base the action on (having so far done Mars, Venus and Saturn) so instead the action here is located under the polar ice cap in .   This location know as Eveland is the original garden of and has been populated by Venus women by Aphrodite’s decision.   Diana is called to help them as they are being threatened by Seal Men.   This is pretty standard storytelling, there are three stories and each involves some women being captured by the Seal M...
