Deified
This issue starts out with Donna and Hippolyta back from the Source. There is jubilation as the crisis has passed but Diana is missing. Her body has been stolen so that a brain switch can take place. It doesn’t go right, and Diana dies on the operating table. Her death doesn’t last long as Hippolyta prays to the gods that she be resurrected and the easiest way to do this is to deify her as a Greek goddess (Goddess of Truth.)
The action was a little lacking in this issue and the series in general at this point, and the writing was not doing much to help fill in the plots with nothing exciting happening. Still this was a nice issue, with some nice moments between mother and daughter.
